The company manufactured holsters for many different firearms including rifles, shotguns, handguns and revolvers. The company continued to produce holsters until it closed its doors in 1984.
Seguin is a small town in what was once the Texas Panhandle. It is located about 25 miles (40 km) north of Dallas and about 25 miles (40 km) east of Amarillo. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,711. The name Seguin comes from Spanish meaning "village on the skirts of a mountain." The first European to sight Seguin was Hernando de Soto in 1541 when he explored the area for Spain. In 1835, the United States purchased land in present-day Seguin from Mexico for $5,000. The townspeople quickly adapted to their new location and began building homes and businesses. They named their new settlement after Captain James Cook's flagship HMS Beagle which stopped at Anchor Bay on its way southward during 1836-37 while exploring South America. In 1839, General Sam Houston crossed the Sabine River near Seguin on his way to invade Texas. On July 6th, 1839, Houston's forces discovered a Mexican post at San Jacinto that they attacked successfully but did not capture or damage any vessel or property within range of their cannonball guns. This victory marked one of only two times Ulysses S Grant successfully invaded Texas – another being during his eight years as general officer commanding all Union soldiers in that state during the American Civil War (1861-1865). In 1836, the Republic of Texas was founded through the Mexican-American War. The area that now includes Seguin, Texas was part of Mexico. On January 6, 1836, five men rode into town on horses wearing no clothes and announced to the townspeople that they were Santa Anna's forces coming to take them over. Unknown to anyone in town at the time, these men were actually General Antonio López de Santa Anna with his army looking for a pretext to cross the border and loot American stores. The townspeople immediately assembled a militia and defended themselves against what they thought was an invading force. The militiamen killed or captured most of SantaAnna's forces before he could reach Seguin. This event is known as the Battle of San Jacinto which ended in Texan victory. After this battle, many Texans began calling Seguin "The Lone Star City." Seguin grew rapidly during its early years as a result of its location on the Rio Grande River which made it a convenient transportation hub for goods arriving from across Mexico and Central America. In 1840, Seguin became one of three general finalists for the proposed capital city for Texas under then-Gov. Mirabeau B Johnson (1837-1844). Ultimately Austin was chosen as the new capital and Seguin slowly lost importance as an economic center until it regained some importance after World War II when growth in neighboring Houston led to increased traffic along I-10 nearSegui

On September 6, 1846, Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna ordered the burning of the town after its submission.
