After the war ended, these companies closed down and many of their employees left town as they found other jobs or returned home. However, others continued working at these businesses until their closure or absorption into larger companies during the late 1970s and early 1980s. Today, much of what once thrived in Seguin has either been replaced with newer buildings or lost its importance because of technological advances or changes within McKinney County itself such as large developments near downtown Dallas that have displaced many small businesses around town along with increased outsourcing opportunities throughout America dating back to World War II when America's largest munitions plant was located just outside of town adjacent to Northpark Mall - making it easy for multinational corporations like Toyota to outsource all aspects of manufacturing operations here while still controlling about 60% ownership!
