In 1862, American inventor Nicholas-Jacques Conte designed an air pistol that he called the Crosman No1 Pistol (pictured). This pistol featured a revolving barrel that allowed it to fire pellets rather than small metal balls like other earlier designs did. It also had several features not found on any other type of airgun at this time such as an adjustable stock and gas operated hammer that gave it greater accuracy and range than many earlier models did!

After serving in the Texan military, FranciscoGarzaestablished a ranch near Medina County Courthouse in 1881. In addition to his ranching activities, FranciscoGarza also served as justice of the peace and postmaster at Seguin for several years. In 1886, José de la Garza married Maria Antonia Salgado; they had two children:Ramon (1887-1952) and Concepción (1889-1971). The couple operated their farm until 1912 when they sold it to Oswaldo Jarafora Jr., who changed its name to Jarafora Farms Incorporated later that year. From 1911 until 1917, Jose de la Garza served as mayor of Seguin; he was also responsible for developing various aspects of town government including building roads and parks. In 1928 he retired from public life and died three years later at the age of 78 years old after a long career at Jarafora Farms Incorporated which included more than fifty years as president or CEO

In 1941, during World War II, Seguin became an important military base with its own airport and Army Air Corps airfield serving as both an bombing range for enemy aircraft and a training ground for American pilots during Operation Overlord (the Normandy Invasion). After the war ended, the Assembliesmens Hall building served as the primary local government headquarters until it burned down in 1978. In 1984, oil production began at Refinery No 4 adjacent toSeGUIN airport resulting in increased traffic around town which caused nearby homes to become unoccupied and fall into disrepair; this led to community pressure for development that eventually resulted in renovations/rehabilitation of many homes withinSeGUIN itself as well as new retail development along US 183 corridor adjacent thereto including popular local restaurauntsthe Arby’s Grill & Pub chain In 2007 it was announced that Plains Alloys Incorporated would be constructing a large new paper mill complex west of town located on Landmark Drive across from Memorial Stadium; this project has since stalled due to environmental concerns related to possible spills associated with active quarrying operations taking place nearArby’s property . Today there are few businesses left downtown apart from small shops along US 183 corridor outside ofSeGUIN itself while much newer commercial areas are growing up around Loop 610 interchange just east of town center called “The Hub” etc etc
