Schertz, Texas is a small town located in the southeastern portion of the U.S., about 30 miles northeast of Houston. It is one of the oldest communities in Texas and has been called "the most gun-friendly community in America." The town was founded by Texans who came to the area from what is now Oklahoma in 1871.
