In 2003, Sachse High School became the first high school in Texas to be accredited by AdvancED Schools USA (www.advancedschoolsusa.org). A new football stadium with a $25 million investment was built on Main Street and named for former Superintendent Drayton Easley III after he retired from his position in 2007 following 22 years of service to the school district The current owner of the property where Sachse High School sits is Valley View Group which purchased it from Vernon County government for $2 million back in 2006
The first handheld handgun, the Colt Model 1851, was designed in 1876. It was a gas-operated revolver with a 10 round magazine. The weapon reached production in 1881 and became known as the “ Pistol of the Plains.” In 1911, H.A.R. Brenner created an electric version of the Colt Model 1889 revolver that became known as the .32 ACP calibre gun light or “Brenner Gun Light.” This firearm had a battery operated light that could be worn on one's belt or bodyguard revolver holster. In 1923, Harold Wertheimer created an electric automatic pistol called the Browning Hi-Power which used rechargeable batteries to power its light and firing sensor system

Sachse is a small town in Midland County, Texas, United States. Sachse was founded in 1881 by German immigrants. The first post office was established in 1881, and the town incorporated in 1903. The population was 714 at the 2010 census. Sachse is part of the Midland-Odessa-Bedford City, TX Metropolitan Statistical Area. The settlement of Sachse was located on the banks of the Sabine River east of present-day Midland, Texas. In 1881, German immigrants from Königsberg (now Kaliningrad), Russia settled at what is now Sachse and began to farm land that would later become a part ofMidland County. By 1890, there were 10 families living at Sachse with total farmland totaling . In 1903, after years of discussion and planning between local officials and members of the community group "Zentralschule" or central school district (later named Midland Independent School District), Achilleus Schieber took action to form a new village on his property southwest of present-day Midland which he called "Sachsenhausen". This village became a center for commerce and education with its own library, post office, grocery store and grain elevator among others early on in its history. On November 5th 1916 residents organized themselves into an election committee to establish government services within their boundaries as well as create fire protection jurisdiction for all citizens within 2 miles radius; this committee did not have authority over anything outside their limits! A month later elections were held for Village President with one vote against incumbent Mayor Wilhelm Schmitt who had been elected unanimously! On December 12th 1916 voting results were published showing that Achilleus Schieber had been elected President with an majority vote - becoming one of only two men ever to hold this distinction in Svenska Scholastica's 240 year history! As time progressed more businesses opened up around Sachsenhausen including a millinery shop (1897) operated by Anna Krüger & Sons before it became Jugendherberg Schwarzwalde where Hitler youth meetings were held during World War II; also Achilleus Schieber built himself a home here which still stands today - serving as both municipal hall and home to many local historical artifacts such as vintage photographs dating back to when both he and his wife lived here until her death in 1993 aged 98 years old! On October 1st 1951 Chauncey Hargrave donated 40 acres (16 hectares) southeast side of town along US Highway 83 just north of junction with FM 927 to be known as "Hargrave Park". This area served as agricultural land until it was annexed by MidlandCity annexation on November 30th 1972 following the passage by voters OF Resolution No . 1280 requesting annexation because thereof existed significant commercial resources potential within said boundaries A number development proposals have been submitted over the years but no resolution has yet been passed authorizing any specific project or additional funding being allocated for them; however plans are currently underway for developing four housing complexes totaling 900 units on approximately 135 acres (.5 hectare) just northeast cornering FM 927/US Highway 83 & Old US Highway 183 near Hargrave Park off SHD #2
