These packs of 10 soft gun cases could be bought at an affordable price compared to other stores that sold soft gun cases separately. Around 1990, Angelo's Shotgun Shop located in Roma began selling a new type of Soft Gun Case called the "Roma Action Cases". These action Cases were designed to protect handguns when stored outside or while being transported between homes/ workplaces/etc., etc., similar to what is now commonly done with laptop computers and other electronic devices today! These action Cases would also fit most any handgun that came into Angelo's shop including Glocks, revolvers and semi-automatic pistols!

The company was started by two men, Arthur Winchester and Hiram Maxim, who were interested in creating a better firearms ammunition than what was available at the time. In 1905, they changed their name to Winchester Repeating Arms Company and continued to produce high-quality firearms ammunition until 1971 when they merged with Remington Arms Company.
Roma, Texas was founded in 1847 by Antonio Roma and his brother Lorenzo. The Roma family were the first white settlers in what is now Medina County. There are a number of theories about why Roma chose to settle in this area. One theory suggests that Antonio Roma was looking for a place where he could grow crops and raise livestock, while Lorenzo Roma wanted to find a new home for his family after living in Mexico City for many years. In 1850, the Romas sold their land to Colonel Haney and his men who built the trading post at Rome on Grand River. In 1853, Colonel Haney gift the land to John Whitehead and James Sargent as part of the Rancho Guadalupe grant. This grant allowed Whiteside to build up some ranching activities here while also granting him certain rights over Native American land which he used as grazing pasture for cattle. In 1870, when Romans sold their holdings east of Rome to Jens Jacobsen and Wilhelm Nielsen, they abandoned their irrigation system which enabled them to remain prosperous here until after World War II when it became necessary for them to sell off large tracts of agricultural land due to moisture shortages caused by droughts at other parts of the country. Afterward, few people lived in Rome because access to education or industry had diminished these areas; instead settlements sprung up around churches or schools that served rural families until well into the 21st century. A number of businesses have been located here since its founding including: Roman's Grocery (1911), Lumberyard Supply Co.(1925-present), State Bank (1893-1996), Assorted Hardware Store(1985-present) and currently Rangeman’s Antiques & Coins store/gallery/ restaurant cum barbershop (since 1978).
