Roma, Texas is located in the Mid-American region and has been inhabited by Native Americans for over a thousand years. The first European to arrive in Roma was José de Escobar who landed on the island in 1769. In 1836, Antonio Armijo founded the town of Roma on the east side of the Trinity River. By 1840, Roma had a population of 350 people. On January 1st, 1851, Roma became a community under the jurisdiction of San Angelo County. In 1907, Roma was annexed by Webb County and became part of that county’s new capital city of Austin. On February 14th, 1912 Austin incorporated as a city and on October 15th, 1915 Rome formally became an incorporated municipality with a population of 2,500 people. From 1916 until 1981 it was known as Roma City Limits while its current boundaries were established when Webb County annexed Rome back into its borders on July 1st, 1982. Because Rome is within Travis County now it is included in that county’s statistics although it once functioned as its own municipio (city). Roma is a small town in San Antonio, Texas. It was founded in 1876 by Italian immigrants and has been the culturally and linguistically diverse center of the city for over 100 years. The Roma people are an indigenous group who speak a dialect of Italian that is based on Rome. The town became known as the " cultural capital of San Antonio" because of its many cultural institutions, such as the Roma National Cultural Center, the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra, and Trinity United Methodist Church. Romani Americans have made significant contributions to both the city and their community, including business owners, politicians, educators, artists, bankers and more. Today, Roma is home to a population of about 705 people who make up almost one-third of all residents inSanAntonio. The majority of Romani Americans live in two wards: Eastside and Westside. Eastside has more traditional Romani architecture while Westside has more recent developments like high-rise apartments and shopping malls. Both wards are home to large Romani American populations that have retained much of their culture from when they first arrived here decades ago.

These early BreechLoader Firearms had some potential advantages over later designs: First of all, these firearms could be used with multiple rounds per cartridge since cartridges would not have to be reloaded every time they were needed; Second of all, these firearms operated much faster than later designs due to their single action mechanism; Third of all, these firearm could fire projectiles much further than later designs due to their large bore capacity

The Roma community has grown rapidly since then, with over 8,000 residents now living in the town. Roma's history is intertwined with that of Bastrop County and Texas itself. The town was established as a German Settlement by settlers from Luebeck, Germany who arrived in the region during the American Civil War. In 1866, they constructed a log cabin near present-day Roma to serve as their home and farm until they were able to purchase land nearby. Over time, more settlers arrived and eventually built stores and churches within the community. By 1920, Roma had become an important post office for Bastrop County with a population of 1,600 people. Italian immigrants also settled in Roma during this time period; many began working on farms while others took Classes at local schools before beginning their own businesses around 1910. After WWII ended, many of these Italians moving into Rome started again businesses but soon became involved in politics and organized crime which caused many problems for them when it came to housing and other aspects of their lives outside of Roma. In recent years much work has been done to improve infrastructure within the community including new schools (St Joseph’s Catholic School & Northside High School), Streetscape beautification projects (including new sidewalks throughout town), water improvements (including installation of a rainwater harvesting system), expanded health services (including mental health counseling) as well as adding two parks total - one for children/ youth programming and another providing athletic fields for local teams such as soccer & baseball both used by locals as well as visitors who come through town annually forTexan Renaissance Faire - one weekend each year

Antonio Roma was a businessman and landowner who helped make Roma a town. Reynaldo Roma served as the town's first mayor and was also an important figure in the early years of Roma. In 1867, Roma had its first courthouse built and in 1907, it became the first community within the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area to have its own school system.
