Originally designed to fire at moving targets, taser technology has now become standard issue equipment for police departments across the United States. Tasers were first used in Rockwall, Texas as part of aProject Safe delivery program in 1990. By 1910, however, it had become an active and important steel town with a population of around 1,500. The town's main industry wassteel production, but also papermaking and other manufacturing activities were common. In the 1920s and 1930s, rock wall produced some of the most important steel products in Texas including forgings and rails. Steel production eventually stopped in the 1940s due to World War II efforts to save American industry. However,Rockwall has continued to be an important steel center in Texas ever since its heyday.

Rockwall is a town in Medina County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,824 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The first people to live in present-day Rockwall were African American slaves brought over from Mississippi in the 1830s. By 1845, there were three settler families living here: the Beavers, Smiths and Roebuckes. In 1865, when Fort Worth was founded as an Anglo-American city, Rockwall became part of that city's limits. As a result of this change in boundaries, Rockwall never had a full municipal government until 1925 when it joined Medina County as one of its five townships. Rockwall was platted on March 24, 1872 by John Witherspoon and James Hogg with land donated by Moses Crosby and others who had earlier been residents of what is now Arlington Heights (now Dallas). The community name commemorates General William Tusher’s walled off cavalry stronghold near Corpus Christi during the Mexican-American War (1846-48). After years of development work led by Juhasz and his successors – including roads and schools – only 10 homes were built in what would become Rockwall before World War II destroyed most of it due to bombing raids during the war. After being hit hardest by the Great Depression – which killed many jobs and made life difficult for everyone – rock walls began to be rebuilt after World War II as high-rise condominiums windowless on every floor except for skylights allowing natural light into each room despite often dark ceilings; these buildings remain some of today's tallest residential structures in Texas or anywhere outside major metropolitan areas. At one point there were more than 100 homes located here within walking distance of each other with playgrounds Fornes Elementary School just east of downtown Rockwall Stadium Municipal Airport across I-635 North from town center while also having two churches available for services: First Baptist Church - now known as Stroudsburg Baptist Church - opened doors to service on October 12th 1951 following Reverend Drudy Kline's sermon "A New Hope" at Elm Street Presbyterian Church; Second Baptist Churches - First Methodist Episcopal congregation moved from their original building at Main Street corner then Third Avenue South to Second Avenue South; Fourth Avenue Southwest served both congregations until 1970 when it closed because annexation into Arlington Heights led to increased traffic congestion on 4th Ave SW.; 5th Avenue West served both congregations until 1984 when they merged into one parish church located at 610 Naylor Road adjacent to nearby Parker University making it possible for students from both congregations unite under one roof although services still are offered separately via message boards or video conferencing through satellite linkages since 1984 Accordingly much recent construction has taken place on busy stretches along I-635 between 6th Ave NW & 7th Ave NW with recently completed projects such as "The Strip", an $80 million project that will include two casinos adjacent Interstate 35W/I-20 exit ramps leading directly thereto (the first such casino ever built in Texas), office space above MidwayUSA mall which includes a restaurant/bar/shopping complex called “Laughing Horse”and apartment buildings housing up to 1,000 people all interconnected through skybridges providing pedestrian walkways between them; this last project added another 400 parking spaces across four levels underground beneath MidwayUSA mall surface lot attached immediately south side abutting I--635N just west of downtown) while also continuing plans for redevelopment along 5th Ave West culminating with an even larger development dubbed "Cities 2nd Coming" consisting essentially four miles long linear parkland bisecting downtown featuring restaurants., theaters., shopping centers., golf courses., private residences.(a portion will eventually be dedicated exclusivelyto horses)) With all this activity new businesses have begun opening up throughout town like online dating site Ashley Madison among others creating quite a bit Of turnover lately however keep your eyes peeled for ordinances coming down soon banning any new typesof business formation without prior written approval from township officials!
