It is also the home of the Robinson Rifle Range, one of the largest rifle ranges in the country. The range was founded in 1881 by Captain John S. Robinson. Today, it remains an important shooting destination for enthusiasts of all ages. Robinson started as a small community on the banks of Buffalo Bayou in what is now Hudspeth County. In 1881, Captain John S. Robinson founded the community of Robinson on land that he had purchased from the Comanche Nation. At first, there were only a few people living in this small town on the edge of what is now suburban Dallas/Fort Worth area. By 1901, however, Robinson had reached its peak population with over 1,000 residents! The community continued to grow until World War II when it was destroyed by fire! In 1916-1917, General Sam Houston visited this part of Texas and took part in some gunfights at Huntsville Field near present day Fort Worth before his victorious march through Central Texas to San Antonio! This event helped spur development around Huntsville Field and led to military use of this field for target practice from then on! After World War II ended, most local government functions were transferred from Robinsons to Dallas/Fort Worth Municipal Airport (Dallas/Ft Worth Airport) which currently hosts many major sporting events as well as providing additional employment opportunities for locals – including many NRA members!

Robinson is a small town in the Texas Panhandle that is home to over a thousand residents. It was founded in 1873 by John Robinson, who homesteaded land on the banks of the Brazos River. The community has experienced many changes over the years, including becoming an agricultural center during the 1920s and 1930s, then experiencing rapid growth during World War II as businesses and homes were built in anticipation of the war. Since then, Robinson has seen stability and growth, with population totals reaching 1,300 in 2000 and 1,500 today. According to the 2010 census estimates, Robinson has a median household income of $49,512 and a per capita income of $15,876. The town's namesake John Robinson was born in 1823 in Scotland and immigrated to America at age 15. He worked his way up through various jobs before settling down in what is now Johnson County seat of Marshalltown around 1860. In 1873 he homesteaded land along the Brazos River which he named for his friend James Fenton who had also migrated to America that year. In those early days there were just six residents living in Robinson when it was platted but it quickly grew into a small farming village with over 100 citizens by 1880. By 1900 there were more than 2200 people living in Robinson with its largest employer being JBS Hardware Company which operated out of four stores and two barns. The post-war boom years brought prosperity to Robinson as businesses such as Lumberjack’s Shop & Grill (founded 1946), Dairy Queen (1957), IHOP (1959), Mid-America Ford dealership (opened 1962) all opened their doors within one or two decades after incorporation. In recent years however some aspects of life have begunto unravel due to economic instability caused by global recession followed by increasededar oil production throughout central Texas which has led to joblessness among locals as well as higher energy prices putting pressure on budgets across all sectors; most notably healthcare where services have been affected particularly since last spring when state legislators passed Senate Bill 3 known colloquially as "the bathroom bill." Robinson, Texas is located in the Midwestern United States and was founded on November 17, 1836. The town sprang up out of the need for a place to store goods brought over by the American Gold Rush. The first post office was established in Robinson on December 1, 1837. In 1840, Robinson became the county seat of Hudspeth County. A cotton gin was built in 1845 and soon boasted both an output of raw cotton and finished products such as bales of cloth and sacks of flour. By 1865, Robinson had become one of the most important cotton towns in Texas due to its production capabilities and its location close toHouston. The town experienced a significant boost when it served as headquarters for General Sam Houston during his Battle of San Jacinto which helped secure Texas independence from Mexico. In 1860, Robinson became home to the first sodalitas (a Mexican-American women's singing group) in Texas when they performed at Republic Hall. The social event helped break down racial barriers and attract black Texans to their new community. By 1870, Robinson had also become home to a Methodist church and school system which helped promote education within its community while also helping keep many local jobs open. In 1907, Roosevelt Hotel opened in downtown Robinson with 109 rooms including 11 baths/baths for guests who could use them while away from home on business or pleasure trips through Dallas or Houston; it would remain operational until 1951 when it burned down along with many other buildings during the Great Depression era in America . In World War II, many locals donated their time and resources towards military service including erecting two sets of hangars at nearby Fort Worth Army Air Field (now Goodfellow Air Force Base) used for training fighter pilots; these were completed before hostilities ended in 1945 . A few years later things started happening that would change much about this small community - Coca-Cola was born here! On July 22nd 1948 local entrepreneur Will Rogers purchased land east side Main Street between University Avenue & Joe Mixon Boulevard near where Interstate 25 now meets FM 559 - he named his new bottling plant Coca-Cola Bottling Works Incorporated! This marks what is now known as "The beginning of Coca-Cola history." From then until present day Coke has been headquartered here - right next door to our old coke factory!
