Gun grips are a type of grip that is used to hold firearms. There are many different types of grips, and they can be found on handguns, shotguns, rifles and even pistols. Pistol Grip Guns: Pistol grips typically have a right-handed design with a gripping surface on the front near the muzzle while the back of the grip is located near the hand. The history of gun grips in Port Neches, Texas begins with the arrival of settlers in the early 1800s. The area that now comprises Port Neches was first settled by Europeans in the mid-19th century. In 1836, a group of Texans led by James Hogg bought land near present-day Port Neches and established a small town named Neches. Over time, other farmers and entrepreneurs arrived in the area and founded more villages and towns. One of these settlements, called Newtonville, was located on what is now US 281/Neches Boulevard. By 1860, Newtonville had become a major center for trade and commerce in the region. In 1872, local entrepreneur John Ladd purchased 1,000 acres along present-day US 281/Neches Boulevard from James Hogg. This property became known as Ladd's Prairie after John Ladd's son-in-law developed it into an agricultural district that included cornfields, dairy farms, lumber mills and several churches. By 1890, Ladd's Prairie had become one of the most important economic centers in eastern Texas. In 1902, two brothers named Clyde Denny and Alonzo Denny founded the Denny Manufacturing Company on what is now US 281/Ladd Boulevard to produce shotguns and rifles for civilian use. The company quickly became well known for its quality products and contributed significantly to Tennessee rifle manufacturer Henry Repeating Arms Corporation's success during World War I. In 1928, Clyde Denny donated his entire interest in the company to his brother Alonzo Denny Jr., who continued to run it as an independent business until his death in 1969. After Alonzo Jr.'s death, ownership passed through three sons until it finally came under control of Ed Sniderman Sr., who continues to operate it today as Sniderman Firearms Group Incorporated (SGF).
Port Neches, Texas is a city in Brazoria County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,024 at the 2010 census. The city is part of the Houston metropolitan area and is included in theHouston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land Combined Statistical Area. It lies on the Gulf Coast between Galveston Bay to the east and Clear Lake to the west. The name "Port Neches" comes from a shipwreck that occurred near here in 1853 during a navigation error by captain James A. Cook on his ill-fated voyage around Cape Horn. As a result of this event, early residents named their community after one of these ships - for example Port Neches Point in 1854, then Punta Cana in 1865, and so forth until 1895 when it reverted back to its original name of Brazoria. Although it has been mentioned as far north as San Antonio and south as Corpus Christi innumerable times throughout its history (and still does occasionally), Port Neches finally achieved municipal status when it was incorporated as a town on November 12th, 1907 by Judge John Wm. Gwynn with 609 voting inhabitants (1% of Brazoria County's population). At that time Fort Bend County was created from portions of Harris County including Galveston Island which made up much of what is now Houston proper but also included most of Sugar Land (to the west). Today many people believe that if Gwynn had not wisely vetoed annexation by Houston he might have found himself powerless against Sam Houston’s growing empire 100 years later! In 1941 Mayor Lamar Alexander moved Port Neches downtown after purchasing land from local farmers who were protesting world War II military exercises being conducted nearby at Buffalo Bayou beachfront property adjacent to City Hall Annexe #2 across Buffalo Bayou from where Randolph Air Force Base now stands – again some 2 miles away! Although today most citizens refer to themselves simply as "Port Nechesans", back then nearly all business activity took place within downtown where government services were provided such as fire departments, police precincts and post offices; telephone service; schools; parks; businesses etcetera In 1993 both City Hall Annexe #2 buildings were razed following an arson campaign waged by two young teenagers who believed they had destroyed “their” city hall In 2001 new annexes were added to provide more space for growth: Eastside/Morningside annexed in 2002 followed by Northwest Heights/Oakwood annexed in 2004 – making total Port Neches' present boundaries 14 square blocks or almost one-third of its current size! With such rapid expansion came increased crime rates which continued unabated until 2008 when Mayor Sylvester Turner launched an aggressive program called "Addition One" designed to decrease crime rates while preserving our cultural heritage andhistoric architecture while providing sorely needed public services like law enforcement and infrastructure development On September 1st 2009 President George W Bush signed into law Representative Tom Emmer's bill creating Presidential Signature Zone located just outside Downtown & bounded geographically by I-10 Exit 163W & FM 1960E

Port Neches, Texas is located in the Midland region of Texas and is one of the oldest incorporated towns in that state. It was founded by Captain James K. Polk in 1836 as a small fishing village on the Brazos River. The town rapidly grew, becoming a major cotton port for the area and eventually reaching a population of over 10,000 by 1840. The town developed into an important commercial center and was known for its high-quality furniture, clothiers, and merchants. The city was also home to two large colleges: Baylor University (founded in 1871) and Texas A&M University (established in 1893). The city came to prominence during the American Civil War as it served as a key military post on the border between Confederate States of America (CSA) and Union States of America (USA). In 1861, Port Neches played host to Confederate forces under General Robert E. Lee while they conducted operations against Union forces near Houston. In 1865, following Lincoln’s decision not to pursue additional war efforts after he had been elected president, Port Neches returned fully to UVA control with general John Totten leading its forces during the Battle of Mansfield Road which resulted in Union victory. Following Reconstruction efforts led by President Woodrow Wilson effort Port Neches became an important cultural center with many prominent luminaries from both Southwestern United States and Northern United States attending its schools/universities. The city experienced significant growth starting around World War II until suburbanization began occurring throughout much of Greater Houston beginning in 1960%. Today, Port Neches remains an important cultural and economic center within Central Texas with numerous restaurants/bars/nightlife options available within walking distance of its downtown core.
Port Neches was founded in 1836 by the Brazoria and Galveston Railroad. By 1850, the town had a population of 800 people. The first school in Port Neches was built in 1851. In 1865, the city became a county seat and port commerce grew thanks to its location on the Texas Gulf Coast. In 1886, Port Neches voters approved a $10 million bond issue to build a new harbor and improve transportation for the community. The project created jobs and increased trade throughout the region. The new harbor allowed for more shipping traffic and helped increase exports from Port Neches by 50%. The modern era of Port Neches began in 1966 when it incorporated as a city. Since then, it has made significant progress including becoming one of Texas' fastest growing communities with an annual growth rate of 6% or more since 2000. In addition, City Hall has been renovated multiple times including most recently in 2015 which added several new floors to accommodate burgeoning government services and meetingspaces as well as expanding recreational opportunities such as an outdoor basketball court and soccer field
