The Port Neches rifle company was founded in 1892. The company produced a wide variety of firearms, including rifles, shotguns, pistols and revolvers. In the 1920s, the company became known for its T-shirt line.
Port Neches is located in Brazoria County, Texas. The population was 22,516 at the 2000 census and it is the county seat of Brazoria County. The city of Port Neches has a population of 17,541 as of the 2010 census. The first people to live in what is now Brazoria County were the Creek Indians. They migrated from central Texas towards the end of the 18th century. In 1820, a group of Texans who had been traveling through Brazoria County discovered oil wells near present day Port Neches and began exploring for oil resources. By 1827, there were three oil rigs onshore in Port Neches with over 100 workers working on them. In 1870, a cotton plantation was founded by James Bowers along Buffalo Bayou in what is now downtown Port Neches. This plantation was one of the largest cotton plantations in Texas and produced over 350 acres (160 hectares). The slave trade played an important role in developing this area because slaves brought more than $6 million worth of crops and products to market between 1800 and 1860 alone! The slave trade ended during Reconstruction in America, but it continued throughout World War II because port facilities were used to transport goods from Europe to American shores! The first post office in Port Neches opened on October 20, 1871. It was called Brownsville and served a small town near present-day Houston. On February 14, 1893, it changed its name to Port neches after Major General Samuel Tilden who had helped bring about Reconstruction in America after the Civil War ended! During World War II, Portsmouth became one of five US Naval Airfields servicing all points within US Navy Aircraft Carrier Striking Force area (airfields included Pensacola Naval Air Station), which made it possible for naval aviation operations off Brazil during that time period; additionally These airfields operated until 1945 when they reverted back to military control until being turned over to Brazilian government on December 13th 1945 by United States Congress as part of Foreign Military Sales program! It wasn’t until 1970 when trucking industry started coming into play due to growing demand for agricultural products moving inland from Gulf Coast states such as Texas & Louisiana.. As these industries grew so did their needs for transportation corridors along I-10/I-610 corridor that would allow access into those states without having either go through Corpus Christi or Galveston

The American Rifle Association (ARMA) was founded in 1871, and the National Firearms Act of 1934 created the National Firearms Registry. In 1968, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy announced that the Justice Department would no longer prosecute people who had been smuggling firearms into America. The program was stopped by President Richard Nixon, and it has not been revived since.
Port Neches, TX is a town in Liberty County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,856 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Liberty County were French and Spanish traders and explorers in the mid-1600s. They named this area "Neches" after a small body of water near present day Nacogdoches, TX. By 1796, when Texas became an Independent Republic, most of what is now Liberty County had been acquired by the Republic from Spain. In 1836, Ulysses S. Grant set out for Mexico on his way to become president and discovered that the Santa Fe Trail led from New Orleans to San Antonio de Bexar (now Austin). After reaching Independence Pass he decided to turn back due to bad weather but continued on down the Santa Fe Trail until he reached Port Neches on July 10th of that year. On July 12th he erected a flagpole at White Sands Ranch with orders from President Sam Houston that it be flown at all public events throughout Texas until replaced by a new one as soon as possible. In 1859 Isaac Newton Brown donated land within present-day Port Neches for a cotton gin and sawmill which later became known as Brown's Mill & Cotton Gin Company ( founded 1865 ). The mill began operations in 1865 and produced 400 bales of cotton each day; this allowed port neches to become nationally known for its high quality cotton fabrication until World War II when production decreased because of advances in synthetic fibers. With technological advancements during World War II,port neches was able to produce millions of dollars worth of exportable items such as T-shirts and other clothing products which helped increase local economic growth while creating jobs for locals During prohibition years (1920-1933), the town prospered thanks to smuggling activities which resulted in increased tax revenue The current incarnation of Port Neches begins with its incorporation as a municipality on December 1st 1898 under charter number 4884 provided by then Mayor Juan Cordero On November 3rd 1904 trustees voted 7–0 to establish an educational board which would provide instruction in reading comprehension skills along with English grammar classes through Lone Star High School On November 5th 1905 trustees voted 5–3 against establishing library funds within municipality limits primarily due to concerns about having enough money available should such funds ever be needed On October 9th 1906 trustees passed resolution declaring their intention “to erect upon said property three stories tall a school house or similar structure” Town Manager John Ahern responded favorably stating: “I am much favored with this resolution because I know we can get something done about it” On November 11th 1906 trustee vote found $2 per capita taxation district fund existed within municipality limit providing necessary sources for future municipal spending including road construction project budgeting
Port Neches was originally a small, agricultural community located in present-day Dallas County. The first post office was established in 1872, and the town name derived from the nearby Neches River. By 1900, Port Neches had become a popular tourist destination due to its picturesque landscapes and historical landmarks. In 1952, the city of Port Neches merged with the neighboring town of Whitney to form one consolidated municipality. The merger led to increased development in both towns, which has helped contribute to their current growth rate.
