However, this did not mean that they had lost all interest in these devices; in fact, some companies continued production until well into 2000 despite such negative publicity! In 2003, SIG SAUER introduced their own variant on the red dot sight called the SIG Sauer P365RQS which incorporated digital magnification capabilities which made it much easier for shooters to aim at targets at long range without having to fumble with traditional lenses or reticles! This new sighting system proved itself both inaccurate and unreliable however and was eventually discontinued after just two years in production! Port Arthur is a small town located in Travis County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,883 at the 2010 census. The original Port Arthur was founded in 1836 by General Sam Houston as a trading post and military base along the Sabine River. It became an important center of cotton production and commerce during the 19th century. In 1867, General Antonio Laredo moved the capital of Mexico City from Mexico City to Austin and renamed it Austin after his friend and general Santa Anna. Laredo decided to move the capital back to Mexico City when he took office as president of Mexico in 1871 because he found that Austin was becoming too crowded with people from out of state. On July 6, 1870, Texas seceded from Mexican America and formed its own country, called Texas into which Austin had been annexed onJanuary 6, 1873. The original name for the town was "AUSTIN", but this name was changed to "PORT ARTHUR" on December 12, 1898 because of objections from some residents who thought that "ARTHUR" sounded like a Indian word. The first settlers in what would become Port Arthur were some German immigrants who arrived there in 1836 under Captain Johann Dietrich Müller from Bavaria (now Germany). They were joined by other Germans soon afterwards including: Jakob Friedrichs (1837-1902), Jens Ludwig König (1839-1900), Johann Gottlieb Fricker (1841-1920), Wilhelm Friedemann Heineman (1843-1922) and Ernst August Herrmann (1845-1927). All these men had come overland through Central Texas looking for land grants or government contracts that they could not get anywhere else due to English opposition to their presence. One reason they may not have gotten any official grants or contracts is because British officials did not believe that German settlers were worth anything given their low numbers compared to Anglo settlers at the time. In 1836–37 Captain Müller also brought over seventy families of Swiss refugees who had fled Napoleon's rule in Switzerland during the Helvetian revolution which led to Swiss independence – this group later became known as the Basques! These refugees arrived at what is now known as First Landing Point on Red Bayou opposite where Mission San Fernando Rey now stands; future homes included Fort Alamo and Third Landing Point near present day downtown Port Arthur. In 1840–41 Lieutenant Colonel John Sweeny established Fort Worth about 20 miles northeast of modern day PortArthur on Buffalo Bayou opposite today’s White Settlement Cemetery; however Fort Worth failed to maintain even minimal peace or order within its walls due mainly to Indians attacking whites whenever opportunity offered itself which often meant raiding isolated homesteads acrosstxd bayou communities such as First Landing Point & Third Landing Point where cattle were being driven away for food while tradersaminaed goods betweentexas & mexico.)
