At Colt Industries Inc., ammunition manufacturing resumed as part of its firearms division under the name American Armament Co.). In 1958 American ArmsCo.) merged with Browning Weapons Manufacturing Co.) forming Browning-American Arms Corporation (). Browning-American Arms Corporation continued manufacturing pistols until 1971 when it was purchased by Glock Holding GmbH (). Glock Holding GmbH continues manufacture today as Smith&Wesson Firearms LLC ().

Port Arthur is a town in Texas, United States. It is located on the Republican River, about 25 miles (40 km) northwest of Austin and 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Dallas. To finance this project, Houston raised $2 million by selling land east of Buffalo Bayou near present-day Waco. This land became known as White Sands Ranch and was used for ranching and cattle operations until 1901 when it was leased to George Hennepin County for highway construction purposes. In 1907, Congress added Austin to Texas as a state and Waco became its capital again
