Pflugerville, Texas is a town located in Comal County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,834 at the 2010 census. Pflugerville is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. The first settlers in Pflugerville were farmers who built their homes on a small creek that flows through the town. By 1876, Pflugerville had a post office and four churches. In 1902, the town took its name from General George Armstrong Custer's last battle with Sioux Indians at Little Bighorn Creek. During World War II, Pflugerville served as an aluminum production site for various munitions companies. After the war ended, many businesses closed and much of the housing stock was sold off to developers. However, the townsfolk have kept most of their cultural landmarks and attractions including their small theater and museum which now features artist shows and art exhibitions throughout the year. Today, Pflugerville is known for its annual Bluebonnet Festival which features music and arts performances as well as antique car show/rides along US Highway 183 between downtown and Hwy 290 outside of town center

Others believe that it was created by Native Americans more than 3,000 years ago. Regardless of who is right, the gun sling has always been an important part of military culture. Gun slings have several purposes: to hold a firearm in one hand while you use the other hand to launch it into the air or out of reach; to aim a weapon using a bow or rifle scope; and to store firearms when not in use. There are different types of gun slings, but all work with one basic design: The loop fastens around an object such as a belt, wristwatch strap, or child’s belt. When you release your grip on the weapon, the loop pulls the object forward and away from your grasp- making it easier for you to fire your weapon without having to take your hands off the weapon. The earliest gunslingers used simple crossbows that were not very accurate at long range due to their small size and weight. So they improvised with whatever they had available- including bows and arrows made from animal intestines (hemp), willows (which were common because they would grow back after being cut down), and even wooden stakes! They eventually got better at using gunsslings but continued To make crossbows specifically for shooting targets far away! One interesting note about this type of shooting is that if you can hit your target over 500 yards with a single shot from a crossbow then you can shoot at anything up close! There are two types of gun slings: recurve and straight-pulling versions. Recurvegun slings typically have an oblique shape which makes them easy to grab onto something like someone's arm or hand so that you can pull the barrel towards your target while aiming through the sights; however straight-pulling versions tend to be more difficult and require more strength - especially if you want to pull an enemy off his horseman before he gets too close! The first European to arrive in what is now Pflugerville was José de Arroyo on July 10, 1836, while exploring the area for new land to settle. He named his land Rancho San Antonio de Padua near present day Pflugerville. The first building in Pflugerville was a cabin built by John Forbes in 1838. In 1840 the town of Pflugerville was founded by James Kline and others including David Laney and others from Lebanon, Kansas Territory as a result of the Republic of Texas being organized. The original plat for Pflugerville indicated that it would be located north/northwest of Austin on what is now Loop 410 east of I-35W In 1849 when President Polk issued Executive Order 9271 granting lands east of Austin to settlers in what are now Collin and Travis counties, Pflugerville became one of 131 towns or villages placed under the authority of this order. On December 12th 1850 citizens voted to form a school district which included present day PFLUGERVILLE The first post office opened in 1861 with Johnnie Beattie serving as its first clerk In 1865 two railroadroads were linked up through central Texas creating an era known as 'the great Frontier Time'. This period also saw major development around local businesses such as lumberyards and cotton plantations In 1911 MrRL Griggs donated land adjacent to Waco Creek which served as the site for today's city limits
