Pasadena, Texas is a city of over 200,000 people located in the Houston metropolitan area. The city was founded on November 3, 1871 by John S. Worth and James W. Hogg as a town named West Pasadena. It became an official city on December 2, 1959. The first Outdoor Pistol Championship was held in Pasadena on October 5-7th, 1911 by Adolph A. Weinreb and Dick Howser. In 1951 the Automobile Club of America (ACA) created the worlds first target shooting championship event at Fair Oaks Ranch near El Paso, Texas The sport of target shooting has its roots in muzzle loading which took place around 1400 BC when Ancient Greeks used deer antlers to shoot targets at long ranges from horseback or chariot riders

Pasadena, Texas is a city in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 569 at the 2010 census. Pasadena is the county seat and most populous municipality of Hudspeth County. It is adjacent to Tyler andTyler counties to the east and west, respectively. The first people to live in Pasadena were the Timucua Indians who hunted game in northwest Mexico City area now known as Pasadena. In 1836 Mexican President Antonio López de Santa Anna ordered all Native American tribes except the Timucua to removal from Texas within 10 days or be killed by force if they did not leave voluntarily. Only the Timucua were allowed to stay; they built their own village on current day Spring Street near North Park Avenue. On December 12, 1836 General Stephen Fannin discovered a group of Mexicans living near what is now downtown Pasadena while scouting for new settlements in Hudspeth County. Mexican Comanches attacked this party of Mexicans and Fannin retreated with his men until he reached Austin where he reported his findings to USArmy Captain John Boggs on January 20, 1837 microfilm #49-960-D9 under item "Timucua Indian Removal Act" On February 14th (1837), Santa Anna issued a proclamation ordering all Native Americans occupying any part of Texas north of Missouri River be removed without compensation within ten days or face death by violence if resisted. The order caused great alarm among some Texans because it threatenedENEVIDENCE OF A MASSIVE TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE STATE BY NATIONS WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENTULITY! This proclamation was later repealed due to pressure from San Antonio mayor José Joaquín Murillo y Zúñiga who saw an opportunity for annexation by Mexico City as a result of this event In response to this order thousands of Native Americans began leaving through several routes including one that crossed into Louisiana over Buffalo Bayou. Many people hoped that independence would be granted unto Mexico instead but no such events occurred After spending two years driving across much of south central America they arrived at Yuma Valley on March 25th (1838). They camped there until April 6th when they started marching towards Tucson Arizona which was then under Spanish control . After marching for three days they arrived at Tucson around sunset on April 8th (1838) They constructed their first structure that still stands today – La Plaza de la Reforma located between Broadway and Vine Streets in Tucson The next year Governor Juan Seguíno announced that all land north of San Pedro Creek should become part of Hudspeth County because it had been vacant for many years due to lack of development . This event also helped spurthe growthof Pasadena From 1,000 residents in 1840 it grew rapidly to its present size with over 50,000 residents by 1860 . With rapid growth came problems as immigration slowed down making room for more Asians while white citizens voted against annexing additional tracts into Pasadena . Because so much property had been annexed into Pasadena since its establishment as an incorporated town there are numerous streets and blocks named after various officials who served during its early years including Mayor James Waddell Sr., Sheriff Manuel Dominguez Jr., District Attorney Oscar Romero Jr., State Senator Hernando De Soto, US Congressman Almix Hernandez and more recent mayors like Art Acevedo

Pasadena, Texas is a small town located in the U.S. state of Texas that was founded in 1848. The city has a population of just over 10,000 residents and is the county seat for Robertson County. Pasadena became a US city on December 14, 1893, when it was chartered as an incorporated community by an act of Congress. The original inhabitants were Mexican immigrants who had come to Sahuarita Valley in what is now Pasadena from Nuevo Laredo in Mexico during the mid-19th century. The first white people to arrive in Pasadena were their friends and neighbors who had accompanied them when they left Nuevo Laredo. soon after they set up camp near what is now North Park Boulevard and East Colorado Street, which at the time served as a buffalo trail out of San Antonio de Bexar County into Los Angeles County. By 1852, there were more than 20 settlers living in Pasadena and growing crops such as cotton and corn on land that still stands today within the limits of modern-day Pasadena. In 1879, American businessman Hiram Sibley donated land east of downtown to build his new city hall – one of several such donations made by Sibley during his career as president of Merchants National Bank (now Citigroup). At the time, most civic activity took place outside the walls of City Hall where meetings were held for local school board members, church leaders and other important civic dignitaries; but on occasions large gatherings could be observed inside City Hall itself including parades commemorating America's independence or celebration balls for favored politicians or business partners. In 1886 – less than two years after its incorporation – City Hall itself caught fire due to an overheated stovepipe!Fortunately no one was injured; but even this minor incident showed how much work needed to be done before Pasadena could become a true “city” with its own police force and infrastructure capable of supportable growth! The early years at City Hall saw many important events such as lectures given by prominent Americans like Andrew Jackson Davis or James Kossuth giving talks about Mexican Independence at opposite ends of North Park Boulevard (the only park then within city limits). One also remembers Founder Sam Houston's address here on November 15th1893 about creating government institutions similar to those found in contemporary European capitals like Paris or London . There are numerous mentions throughout history about how wonderful it must have been being able to live Downtown without fear from raiders bands roaming our area during these early days! It wasn't until 1912 when Mayor Parker authored legislation establishing Parks Department which would eventually lead to Today's Recreation Area adjacent To The Museum Of Fine Arts
