McLaughlin until 1907 when it passed from father to son (John A. to James Ewart) until it was purchased by George Haggerty on October 15, 1915. In 1921, the store became part of the Haggerty rifle company and continued as such until 1940 when it merged into the Browning-Olympic Arms company. The business continued as a firearms wholesaler until 1978 when it sold its assets to Valentine Enterprises Incorporated. From 1978 through 1984, Valentine operated the store under the name Gun Parts Super Store before moving back to its current location on North Bascom Avenue in Pasadena on January 7, 1985.
