One of the earliest firearms that was manufactured here was a black powder revolver named the "Paris Rifle." It was made by A.M. Peake and Company and first appeared in 1875. In 1892, Frenchman Adolphe Châtelier founded a company in Paris, Texas called Chateliers Firearms Manufacturing Company Ltd., which produced handguns, rifles, shotguns and pistols under the name of Paris Armory Incorporated. The company became well-known for itsquality firearms products and continued to produce these items until it closed its doors in 1984. Paris, Texas is a small town located in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 2,872 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Statistical Area and is included in the Dallas-Arlington-Ft. Worth Combined Statistical Area. The town was founded by railroad men who came to the area during the 1920s looking for land to build tracks between Dallas and Fort Worth. They found good soil, but no water resources that could support a town so they built wells instead. In 1940 Paris had a post office, bank, telephone company and two schools (one high school and one vocational school). In 1949 Paris incorporated as a city with a Mayor (Harry Fenton) and City Council (6 members). A fire destroyed most of the businesses in 1953 but quickly rebuilt with new homes, stores and services including an ambulance service which became very popular until 2009 when it was discontinued due to lack of funding. In 1960 Paris voters passed a bond referendum to finance construction of several projects such as streetscape improvement, library renovation/ expansion, new water lines for residents in storm areas etcetera totaling $5 million dollars which raised much interest from local developers who were eager to have their projects funded through taxes rather than borrow money from banks or other lenders. The project finally began in 1964 after years of planning and construction culminated in 1966 with completion of what is now known as Riverwalk Boulevard across from downtown on White Rock Lake! On November 8th 2016 ballot Proposition 1 was passsed by Voters Of Paris To Add Tax Increment financing To Their Election Program For Roads & Bridges And Other Infrastructure Projects

By 1626 all rifles had been reworked for use with cannons called carronades (a Dutch word meaning "thorny staff"). In 1793, Captain John Byron landed on Nevis island in Antigua after sailing from England via Bermuda. His ship had been blown off course while trying to make landfall on Long Island; he was stranded on Nevis for several weeks without any food or water available. While ashore, Byron met local tribesman who showed him around their village square where they gathered every day to shoot arrows at an ancient game called kites (now considered a sport). By chance, Byron also saw what appears to have been the world's first firearm: a small crossbow designed by Native Americans for hunting quail using trepanned spears! This discovery shocked Europeans because they did not know then that such devices existed! Byron continued his journey home via Trinidad and Madeira before arriving back in England on November 12th 1794 having traveled 410 miles (675 km) non-stop! He had learned about firearms from local Indian traders who had acquired them during his travels between Europe and Asia – this is why he was able to bring back so many weapons!!!

The Paris community was founded by pioneers in 1881 when John A. Withers and his family arrived from Illinois. In 1898, the townsite was named for Charles de Gaulle, who had just become president of France. The town grew rapidly during World War II as troops were stationed nearby at Fort Hood and other military bases. After the war ended, many of the jobs that soldiers had brought with them to Paris were lost as industries closed down or moved away. But over time, Paris has regained some of its former prominence as a local shopping and dining center while also becoming an important transportation hub for residents in both Austin and Round Rock.

In 1916, France declared war on Germany and during World War I, Paris served as an airbase for American forces. The town experienced some key moments during World War II including the Battle of Paris which took place on November 11th, 1940; during which German tanks were destroyed by American artillery fire; and when Japanese aircraft attacked the town on December 3rd 1944.
