Binoculars have been around for centuries, and North Richland Hills, Texas is home to one of the oldest optical businesses in the United States. In 1872, J.H. Krieger opened his business in what is now north central Dallas with a single pair of binoculars. The early years were difficult as competition was strong from other optical businesses in town. However, Krieger was able to build up a successful business over time and continue making quality products that continue to be used today by hunters and outdoor enthusiasts all across the Midwest. In 1954, Dr. Harry Hahn joined Krieger’s company as Vice President and Head Production Manager. This position helped develop new product lines including night vision devices and Binocular microscopes which became very popular with scientists and researchers looking at microscope images at night or during scientific surveys.During this time period binocular sales also grew rapidly due to advances in optics such as digital technology which made it possible for people all across America to buy quality instruments without having to leave their homes! Dr. Hahn retired from Krieger Company in 1984 but continued working closely with his successor Dr.-Ingo Schmidt until his death in 1994. Under Schmidt’s guidance, the Binocular Division continued developing new products line such as the world’s first waterproof telescope system called “The Schmidt & Bender T1″ which allowed users to view objects up close even when rain or snow was interfering with their view! In 1999, Binocular Division acquired two additional factories (one located in China) which allowed us to produce more high-quality instruments than ever before! Today we are proud owners of twenty-six manufacturing Plants worldwide!

North Richland Hills, Texas is a city located in northern Dallas County, Texas. The population was 61,793 at the 2010 census. North Richland Hills is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The first settlement in what would become North Richland Hills was made on May 10, 1872 by two men from Lubbock County named Hargrave and Keyes. The town charter was granted on October 1, 1872. By 1902, North Richland Hills had a population of 2,000. In 1912 it became an official city with a population of 10,000. On November 20th of that year Representative Earle Cushing introduced Resolution No. 5 which proposed annexing the unincorporated area to the city limits for tax purposes only; this resolution passed unanimously with no opposition. In 1974 North Richland Hills annexed much of northwestern Garland County including Springtown and Cedar Hill as well as most of southeastern Flower Mound County including Killeen and Clearwater Beach areas along I-10 east of US 70 (now US 287) while still maintaining its own municipal government under Resolution No. 8 which established City Hall Plaza on Elm Street in downtown North Richland Hills (then just east of Pappas Road). After years of planning andscribbling by numerous individuals and groups local officials convened their first meeting to consider annexation on October 12th 1963 which resulted in passage by vote of all members presentof Resolution Noa 6 Annexing portions or all Township 1 south side from City Limits to Village boundaries without prejudice thereto but reserving right to change such boundaries at any time prior written notification to Mayor

It was established by farmers on October 15, 1871, when they divided land near Fort Worth into tracts and sold them to others. By 1895, it had a population of 215 people. On December 11, 1916, the name of the town changed from "Richland Hills" to "North Richland Hills". The original townsite was located east of I-635 and north of Elm Street on what is now part of Turtle Creek Boulevard. In 1967 North Richland Hills became an annexed city as part of Arlington Heights. In 1992 it became a independent municipality again with its own governance structure and local governing body known as the City Council.
North Richland Hills is a city in Richardson, Texas. It was founded in 1875 by James A. Wilson. The population was 24,890 as of the 2010 census. North Richland Hills is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and is included within the Dallas-Fort Worth Arson Task Force's jurisdiction.
