In 1907, TheJoneses donated land for this church and built it themselves – becoming one of the first churches in Texas that were self-supporting! Today, the church is open to all visitors and offers a variety of programming including weddings and funerals services! Nacogdoches, Texas is a small town in the U.S. state of Texas, located in the Midland region of the state. The population was 5,521 at the 2010 census. In 1875 a water tower and reservoir were constructed south of town to provide water for local farmers and businesses; this facility still operates today as a municipal entity within El Paso/Rio Grande Valley Metro statistical area boundaries A store built on what is now FM 727 served as an early market place where citizens could purchase goods from local merchants before selling them back to vendors across the river at nearby San Angelo . This early market place operated from about 1865 to 1865 . In 1886 two stores opened up side by side on Elm Street next door to First Baptist Church – these Stores became known as J & B Grocery Store and later True Value Hardware . Both locations closed around 1975 but have been preserved as historical landmarks ever since In 1925 there were only 12 residents living in Nacogdochems ; however by 1930 there had grown to over 150 people due primarily to increased agricultural production which led to an increase in business opportunities for merchants , growth of industry including service stations along IH 35 (later I-10) east of town, annexation by McAllen City Council Schulman Field Airport Authority , etc According To The National Historical Geographic Association's "Upshot: American Community Attributes 1950" report - "In 1940 there were only 10 churches serving 1,500 people; however by 1970 there had grown to more than 30 churches servicing 4,000 people."
