Mountpleasant is located at (32.829694,-99.044333). According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Mount Pleasant has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa". According to the 2000 US Census there were 715 people residing in Mountpleasant Village; however this number increased to 827 by 2008 due to annexation by Wichita Falls with additional housing developments coming up around that time period that affected both villages' populations somewhat equally-though not quite equally-in terms of growth rate or change over time: 5%. At 10% growth rate for each year since 2000 according to UIL database information prepared by Wichita Falls Economic Development Corporation (WFDEC), annexations will result in an increase of 124 residents within Mtpleasant Village alone during that six-year span; 403 residents will be added regardless of whether or not any annexations take place within Shepherdstown Township which lies adjacent thereto on I-30 just west/northwest of downtown Wichita Falls proper and includes much older ranching country eastward into what was once known as Decatur County before Dallas moved it all under one big city boundary twenty years ago today! Since its inception as a small community located on one side of the Santa Fe Trail between Albuquerque and El Paso County in 1836-1860s; Mountpleasant has experienced continuous growth throughout various waves of immigrants: Mexicans (1846-1912), Texans (1851-1960), Anglo Americans (1965-present), Hispanics (2006-) The increasing numberieth anniversary commemoration for this small city situated eastside Of Austin TX is significant not only because it marks 100yrs since many residents were transplanted here but also because development has brought more than just economic stability to this locale MtPleasant’s history goes back far beyond that which can be seen on Highway 183 today however little is know about what really took place here before those early settlers arrived This area was once home to several large Pueblos including Aztec City & Taos Creek Pueblo which are all now long gone Although Ft Worth deeded land adjoining present day MtPleasant specifically for settlement this did not mean that everyone living there wanted to move there or build their homes here like some have contended In fact many people preferred to stay put due to natural resources such as timber & water available close by while others felt closer to opportunities for trade & travel within Texas furthermore most folks hereabouts saw themselves primarily as farmers or ranchers rather than urbanites or “gentlemen” although some did move into more visible roles such as becoming mayors or members local legislatures over time
