The school served grades PreK-8 until 1957 when it merged with LSTC to form East Side High School which continues to serve grades 9 through 12 today. In 1916, southern Starr Pass Baptist Church built their first sanctuary for worship in what is now northeast corner lot #6 at Seventh Street and Park Avenue NE across from US Highway 281A industrial park before moving to their current location on Woodlands Drive NW two blocks northwest of downtown midman and across from Strouds HealthCare Services building - one block south from KFC restaurant originally built by Mrs Florence Pryor adjacent to Ford dealership original site where most recently FedEx Office sat before being demolished in early 2017 as part of a redevelopment project by Pinnacle Realty Partners LLC that included intermodal parking garage addition along with new office buildings including One Exchange Place hotel - all within 2 blocks northeast MAX lines approximately 3/4 mile away from original site while prior property bounded by Seventh Street NW towards Houston Loop Rd & Loop 610 Frontage Rd & Freeway exit w/ access only thru side entrances thereby limiting access overall

Midland is a town in Midland County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,476 at the 2010 census. The name "Midland" is from the Choctaw word "mida," meaning middle or center. It derives from the Spanish words for "west" and "hueco," meaning hole or well. The first European to visit what is now Midland County was Juan de la Hoz on his trip from Mexico City to San Antonio in 1541. La Hoz named all of central Texas after himself- Alamo Hill, Presidio Hill, Chihuahua Hill and so on- but he never reached Midland. Mexican traders and travelers were the first to settle in what is now Midland County in the 1820s. One of these early settlers was James Fenton who arrived around 1824 with his family from Kentucky. Fenton founded Fort Worth (now Arlington) and started trading with Indian tribes along the Trinity River near present day Wichita Falls. In 1836, John Beecher of Illinois built a mill on an artificial creek south of present day Midland because he could not find water suitable for his mills north of Peoria Prairie Road. This began a long connection between Illinois and Midland that would lead to future economic success for both states. In 1839, Beecher partnered with David Wells Fargo to open Dallas's first mercantile store at Commerce Street and Elm Street west of downtown Dallas. The two men built what became one of America's largest mercantile institutions before their deaths in 1902 and 1907 respectively The arrival of railroads changed everything when transportation became available to businesses like Beecher&Fargo as well as other entrepreneurs across North America during the late 19th century Railroads were essential for commerce because they allowed goods to be shipped quickly and cheaply over large distances while also creating new markets for products
