As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 910 people, 309 households, and 223 families residing in the community;the population density was 359 people per square mile (156/km²). There were 328 housing units at an average density of 155 per square mile (61/km²). The racial makeup of the community was 97% White, 0% Black or African American, 0% Native American, 0% Asian Pacific Islander, 2% from other races, and 1% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latinoof any race were 3%.
