Lumberton is a city in and the county seat of McAllen County, Texas, United States. The population was 102,868 at the 2010 census. It is located in the East Central Texas region of the United States on the Rio Grande River. Lumberton is considered to be a center for trade and commerce in East Central Texas. By 1902 they had built another large warehouse at 10382 Highway 43 (now Loop 1604) across from Interstate 35WOWX; this Warehouse became known as "The Gilded Age" due to its luxurious appointments such as marble floors and Tiffany lamps used inside by managers during their business transactions with other businesses throughout Southwestern America - essentially becoming a showpiece for small towns all over North America when it reopened after being destroyed by fire in 1915 In 1907 JH & WW sold their assets to Ephraim Denny who renamed it Denny's Lumberyard. This company processed logs from all over eastern Southwestern United States into furniture rails, flooring products, truckloads of coal for heating homes or power plants or just about anything you could think of before heading off to market where prices were set according to available supply This intense marketing enabled Denny's Lumberyard to become one of the largest companies ever operating out of East Central Texas until World War II when competition from U .S . Steel led them into bankruptcy From 1945-1955 Prentice Maudslay ran things while Bob Moran took over operationally until he retired following management changes including Donny Yarbrough who later purchased/opened his own mill prior to selling it back to Prentice Maudslay in 1984 which finally closed operations effective December 31st 1990 having produced approximately 9 million boards since its inception
