After the war, Lumberton regained its position as a major lumber center but has been buffeted by economic changes such as NAFTA and the Rust Belt migration of working-class Americans to rural areas. Additionally, there are several interesting museums within walking distance of downtown including the Leroy Jethro Tull Museum and Collection ($5 per person), which features exhibits on Anglo culture expressed through music; TheDallas Cowboys Hall of Fame Museum ($10 per person); which honors Dallas Cowboys players who have made over $40 million; The Texas School Book Depository Building ($10 per person).
