Today, Price Bros.'s building remains one of the city's most popular tourist attractions with its beautiful lobby adorned with period pieces including a Art Deco staircase leading to the top floor where visitors can enjoy views of downtown Lufkin from atop their balcony Lufkin has experienced many economic changes throughout its history including various periods of prosperity followed by hard times; however, it has always been an agricultural center with a significant number of farmers who have cultivated crops such as corn, beans (chickpeas), cottonseed oil or soybeans since pre-historic times .
