Despite his success at pharmacy training at Baylor University (1866 - 1888), Dr John Denton started practice only five doors down from where he later built his successful pharmaceutical business on Main Street in 1907 called Denton & Company Limited; later renamed Jardine & Co., Ltd.. With this initial success came rapid growth for Jardine & Co.; eventually becoming one of Canada's leading Pharmaceutical Companies until surpassed only by British manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) following World War II..During this time period there were also several notable civic leaders associated with Loboardsrowth including Superintendent of Schools Amos Kendall (1868-1939), Mayor Harry Draper (1920-1929) and First Lady Alice Reeves Baird (1934-1945). After World War II ended most Americans returned home but few left permanently to start their own businesses; instead most relocated back east or west crossroads towns such as Wichita Falls or Dallas which took advantage of available Redevelopment Funds created following the war..Withdrawal from service during peacetime caused a decrease in population density however due to job relocation outside state lines..As more people vacated cities over time you began see physical development changes such as increasing black populations living near downtown while single family homes continued to be constructed along rural/oothill sides or outskirts of communities offering easy access to freeway exits
