In Little Elm, Texas, the soft gun case history began in 1903. In that year, a man by the name of John H. Hardesty erected a sawmill on the property which he used to sell pistols and other firearms. The mill continued to operate until it was destroyed in a fire in 1914. However, the soft gun case history of Little Elm goes back much further than that. In 1892, cottonseed oil entrepreneur James Miers built a sawmill in Little Elm on land which he also used for his business ventures. As production increased here at home due to these new developments, so too did demand for handguns for personal protection within Lone Star State society(See attachment 3). Consequently, over time Softgun cases have become increasingly common throughout Lone Star State society as more people adopted handgun ownership as part of their everyday lives(Attachment 4).

Little Elm is a small town in north Texas, United States. It was once the county seat of Hudspeth County but was moved to its current location in 1887. The first people to live in what is now Little Elm may have been Native Americans who hunted and fished along the Trinity Riverbanks. By 1800, settlers had arrived in what would become Little Elm from all over Texas. In 1806, Hudspeth County was created from portions of Travis, Hidalgo, and Newton counties. The land around Little Elm was sold off and development began near the riverbank where merchants could trade goods with traders at the upstream settlements of San Antonio and Lubbock. In 1887, when Hudspeth County was split into two parts – one for Texarkana and one for Longview – Little Elm became part of Longview Township which then became part of Hudspeth County again. By 1902, when it merged with Tyler Township to form Tyler County, little Elmer had already disappeared as an incorporated community because it lacked a schoolhouse or other infrastructure needed for such a large population growth within only five years! A post office called Elmer was established in 1903 and remained open until 1951; however, mail delivery ceased due to World War II traffic relief efforts. It wasn’t until 1954 that residents voted to incorporate their community asLittle Elm after watching a short movie about how Anglo Texans lived before they were forced out during World War II by Japanese forces occupying Japan! As soon as incorporation occurred there began heavy construction work needed for things like water systems, roads, schools etc.; much like many other small towns throughout America during this time period! After gaining its own government & police department (the first such federal jurisdiction withinTexas) & becoming an official shopping center / commercial center with numerous businesses opening up since its inception (including Kwik-E-Mart),Elmer quickly morphed into another thriving smalltown throughout pre-WWII America !
In 1879, Little Elm became the site of the first Texas state fair. In 1896, it was renamed the Lone Star State Fair. The fairgrounds were expanded in 1938 and again in 1959. The fairgrounds are now home to a number of cultural events, including rodeos, concerts and art shows.
