In the early 1800s, many Texans lived in small towns and villages. These settlements were clustered around large river systems that supplied water to their citizens. The town or village would have a militia unit, which was composed of men from the community who could protect themselves and their families. One of these militias was the Little Elm Volunteers Rifle Association (LERA). This organization was founded in 1853 by three local residents, John Waddell, Elijah Hughes, and James Hogg. LERA’s mission was to promote rifle training for civilians and provide firearms to those who needed them to defend themselves and their families. The first gun magazines were started in Little Elm by LERA members on July 1st, 1860. At this time there were only a few rifles available for purchase outside of Texas. The magazines helped to increase demand for firearms and help to weaken the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.

Then you push down on the Feed Lever to Fire It!

Little Elm is a small town in Texas, located about thirty miles northeast of Dallas. The population was 7,817 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The name derives from the creek that forms its boundaries and flows through the community. The first Europeans to visiting Little Elm were traders from Canada in 1827. They found Sapo (a type of tree) growing on a hill and named it "Sapo". A post office was established here in 1828, and by 1830, there were ten residents. In 1840, a school was built and in 1845, a jail. In 1856, an oil well was drilled in Little Elm Creek and soon local people began transporting petroleum products to Dallas for refining. By 1860, there were twenty-one residents living in Little Elm Township. The township was organized into two civil wards on March 14th of that year; one for men over eighteen years old and one for women under eighteen years old. On November 15th 1870, when North Texas railway reached this locality by way of Commerce Street Extension east of Interstate 10W between Cedar Hill Road and Hutchins Avenue—the first railroad line to be constructed in Dallas County—Little Elm became part of the new city limits within whichDallas now stands as well as within which Fort Worth now lies

Little Elm, Texas is a small town in Cameron County, Texas. The population was 514 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. The first settlers in Little Elm were families from Illinois who came to what is now Cameron County in 1845. They named their land "Elm" because of the elm trees that they found on their farmsteads. In 1876, the Little Elm post office was established, and it remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1957. In 1901, James Hogg founded a dairy farm east of Little Elm and named it Hogg's Dairy after his father-in-law, Judge John Hogg Jr.. In 1907, Hogg donated land to the city ofDallas to build a park that would become Arlington Park. The citizens of Little Elm soon began donating land to make up Arlington Park; by 1914 there were over 95 acres (39 hectares) donated for park use. The first golf course was designed by Baltazar Tejeda and built on what is now Northside Drive near Southpark Boulevard. In 1923, President Coolidge created the Dallas National Cemetery within Arlington Park as part of his effort to increase national defense against enemy attack through gravesites throughout America. At this time little Elm had any residents so no plans were made for its cemetery expansion until 1928 when Mrs.(?)Goudreau moved into her home across from Bexar Lake which became one of two cemeteries for不分Chinese Americans located outside East Dallas though all Chinese American residents were forced out during World War II when many businesses closed due to government inspections; Goudreau managed to keep her home and died there after losing her battle with leukemia in 1951 living only 73 years old .This event brought attention back to little Elm and led eventually Congress passing the United States Code codifying Civil Rights Act which formally ended segregation within public transportation systems thanks largely to Mrs.(?)Goudrezaua's activism!
In 1836, Little Elm was founded by the Stephens family. The town soon became a popular location for cotton plantations and cattle ranching. By 1860, Little Elm had over 100 residents. In the early 1870s, Little Elm experienced a boom in agriculture due to the discovery of oil in nearby Tomball County. The town's population continued to grow until the late 1800s when it began to decline as a result of various factors including railroad expansion and declines in agricultural production. Today,Little Elm is a small community with few residents and limited resources.
