Lewisville, Texas is a town of about 26,000 people in the U.S. state of Texas and the seat of Midland County. It is located on the banks of the Brazos River, just east of Austin, and was founded in 1876 by pioneers who arrived from Illinois. From these humble beginnings Winchester Repeating Arms Company would go on to produce some incredible firearms including machineguns such as the M1917 Enfield and BAR (the first automatic grenade launcher), sniper rifles such as the Barrett 82mm mortar system (used extensively during World War II), air-to-ground missiles like Operation Neptune's Spear (the Allied campaign against Japan), AR-15 semiautomatic rifles like Super Red Ryder Rifle chambered for 5 mm (.25 inch) bullets called "The Devil's Dictionary," plus many more!
