Leon Valley has two schools: Pleasantview Elementary School which serves students grades K-4th; and Hillsboro Intermediate School which serves students grades 5-8th. There are also three churches: First Baptist Church with worship services at 9am Monday through Friday throughout most months; Second Baptist Church which meets at 10am Fridays for services specific to children under 11 years old worshiping Kiwanis Club memberships only ; Third Methodist Episcopal church meets at 6pm Sundays for services specific to adults
