From then on, Eversharp Group Ltd. developed and marketed binoculars under several different names until it withdrew from the market in 1984. During this time period, Eversharp Group Ltd.'s slogan was "The World's Most Trusted Manufacturer of BinocularS." Today there are multiple retailers that carry Eversharp Group Ltd.'s products such as B&H Photo Video Camera & TV Store, AmazonBasics Online Store*, Sears Canada*, Meijer Inc.* (*Eversharp Group Limited no longer operates within the United States) Today there are a number of manufacturers who produce high-quality binocular products available for purchase online or through brick-and-mortar stores across America. In 1879, John Wesley Powell, a member of the United States Geological Survey and later director of the USGS's Canyonlands National Park, traveled through Texas looking for potential new oilfields. He observed that in some areas there was "a very low surface gravel bed," which he believed could be converted into oil fields by using hydraulic fracturing. In 1888, he and two other geologists named George Frederick Haggerty drilled a well on the Trinity River near Lakeway in Dripping Springs County. The well was successful and began production in 1889. A year later, another Well was drilled by Jack Nichols east of Dripping Springs to a depth of 125 feet while producing oil from kerosene shale at an average rate of 2 barrels per day. The first commercial production from any source came about ten years after the wells were drilled when J.P. Morgan became interested in them and invested in them with his partner Charles Ewing for American Oil Company (AOC). AOC produced over 10 million Barrels of crude oil from these wells before it went bankrupt during the Panic of 1907 followed by World War I. The production stopped around 1920 because of competition from more efficient oils sourced from Venezuela, Mexico and Saudis Arabia; however benzene accumulation continued until 1945 when it was finally capped off with an underground injection well located three miles north-west of Dripping Springs after showing no signs of decline for over seventy years Lakeway is now home to several small businesses engaged in light manufacturing such as food processing, plastics manufacture, fiberglass blowing equipment manufacturing as well as agriculture including livestock feedlots and crop irrigation systems
Lakeway is a city located in the US state of Texas. The population was 71,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Lakeway was founded in 1887 as a small cattle town by farmers and ranchers who bought land from the Wichita Indians. The name Lakeway comes from the Neches River, which flows through it. The town grew rapidly during World War I because of its proximity to military bases and munitions plants. In 1940, Lakeway became one of several towns within a five-county district created to house troops deployed in Europe after World War II ended. The districts were designated as areas with strong civilian populations that would be able to support military activity without being unduly influenced by military authorities or local politicians. The largely white community continued to grow during the 1960s and 1970s when African Americans started moving into the area for jobs in nearbyDallas and Fort Worth. However, since then there has been little growth among black residents relative to white ones; although Hispanics now make up about 20% of Lakeway's population, they have not had much impact on overall civic life or economic development. Black residents have advantages including access to new housing developments built around Interstate 10 (the major north-south route running through downtown) and other public amenities such as libraries and recreation centers outside the city limits; however, these benefits are not always available to them equallyAccessible transportation options are also limited for most residents without cars or expensive bus service

Lakeway is a small town in south Texas, located about 25 miles northeast of Austin. The population was 2,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Baylor-Texas City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in what is now Lakeway was John Kerr, who established a ranch there in 1872. Kerr named the community after himself and his home county of Fayette County, Kentucky. In 1902, Vernon A. Shaver built a sawmill on the then small stream that flows through the community today known as River Road. The mill became an important economic center for local farmers and ranchers until it closed its doors in 1978. In 1907, Joseph Hargrave opened up a general store in what is now Lakeway and began to sell goods from his farmstead near present day Longview Boulevard and US 90/I-30 east of Austin. By 1930, Hargrave had become one of South Texas' leading merchants with over 100 stores throughout the area including 9 locations within Austin city limits alone! His store remains open to this day as an anchor tenant in the Rivercenter Shopping Center on Longview Boulevard across from UT Southwestern School District headquarters (now University College). In 1935, Ethel Walton bought land along River Road from Shaver for $2 per acre (the equivalent of $183 today). She soon began building her own homes while developing her business interests around Lakeway - founding a nursery school and later starting her own poultry farm which produced chickens for retail markets throughout South Texas until she sold it near the end of her life; walnut trees also grew nearby providing them with their famous nuts! Walton's family continued to live in their home until 1990 when they moved into an adjacent structure which still stands today - currently used as office space by local businesses such as Walmart Supercenter on I-35W just north of Interstate 10! A post office called Lakeside was established at this site on November 15, 1916; it served residents of Polk County only until 1918 when Lakeway became part of Travis County under Republic Act No. 95-746 effective January 1st that year which erected new boundaries for Travis County including lakeside Township within Creek Valley Park homeland lying eastward along Slaughter Branch TX 101 between Slaughter Branch TX 514 & 648 yards NW side RR [Slaughter Branch] & westward along Slaughter Branch TX 727 yards NE side RR [Lakeway Rd]. Lakeway was founded in 1836 by J.D. Polk and named for the then-recently completed, but unfinished, Katy Canal. The town grew rapidly during the early years of its existence, as many people from surrounding towns came to work on the canal. In 1876, Lakeway became part of Fort Worth and experienced rapid growth until World War II when it shrunk significantly due to military occupations and the decline of railroads in Texas. Today, Lakeway is a small community with a few businesses and services located near Interstate 10.
