Kingsville, Texas is a town located in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,887 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The first shooting target holders were established in Kingsville in 1907 by Wm. J. Hargrave and his son Amos Hargrave II. The two men built a Shooting Gallery on the north side of High Street which still stands today and continues to provide opportunities for residents and visitors to shoot targets from various distances using their home's backyard or front yard. Today, there are several businesses that offer shooting range rentals including Rancho Rifle & Pistol Range (which was founded in 1984), Lone Star Tactical Shooting Center (founded in 1994), Gunsmithing Annex (founded in 1996), and Mid-America Firearms Supply (founded in 2006). In addition to its role as a center for target shooting, Kingsville also offers a variety of other recreational activities such as fishing, swimming, hiking/climbing, golfing, ballistics testing/testing rifles and shotguns at both Biggs Precision Ammunition supply store(s) located just south of town off FM 19606 and east of I-10 near Garland Airport - all within walking distance of any resident or visitor!

Kingsville is a small town in Johnson County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,814 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The first settlement in Kingsville was made by farmers who moved to the area from Wichita Falls in 1881. The town was named for General James K. Polk, who served as U.S. president from 1849 to 1853 and who had been born in Kingsville, Texas. Kingsville was founded on a ranch which belonged to John Bigham and his wife Sarah Ann (née White). John Bigham died in 1893 and Sarah Ann took over the ranch and started trading goods with settlers in nearby Palestine Junction and other areas east of Fort Worth. In 1898, she built a log cabin on a rise overlooking the town square which became her home until her death in 1937. In 1901, brothers Alfred Humes and Hiram Humes opened an grocery store called the Alamo Grain & Feed Co., which remains open today as one of only a few remaining businesses originally established within Kingsville's boundaries during its early years as a community. Alfred Humes also served as postmaster for Kingsville from 1902 to 1906; he was succeeded by his brother Hiram Humes Sr.. In 1907, Harry Witherspoon bought land adjacent to what would become downtown Kingsville from Mrs Elizabeth Ayer Wilkinson for $1,000 cash plus 10% of all future sales generated within that area - this allowed Witherspoon to build what would become one of the most important commercial buildings located within Kingsvil

The Kingsville community was founded in 1881 by John and Anna Kingsville. The community grew rapidly, and by 1890 it had a population of 350 people. In 1907, the town became a city, and the Kingsville post office continued to operate until 1957.
