The Kerrville Pistol Club was founded in 1887 by Dr. A.F. Kerr and W.H.Watson as a means of providing pistol instruction to the residents of Kerrville, Texas. The club quickly became an important part of the community, helping to promote responsible gun ownership and protection. In 1913, the club celebrated its 100th anniversary with a celebration that included a Stampede race around town and firearms demonstrations from both the handguns and rifles used by members during that year’s World War I conflict in Europe. In 1939, the club moved to its current location on Main Street in downtown Kerrville after purchasing property adjacent to the old post office building which had been used as a rifle range since 1892. The club has continued to serve as an important supportive factor for the community ever since and plays an essential role in keeping our citizens safe from harm when using their firearms for recreation or personal defense!

In 1907, The Kerrville Gunsmithing Company was founded by local gunsmiths J.D. Barnes and Barney Fenton. This company continued to produce quality firearms until the late 1940s when production shifted to Mexico City.
Kerrville is a small town in the Mexican state of Baja California. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is located on the banks of the US-Mexico border, about thirty miles east of San Diego and fifty miles west of Tijuana. It is one of two towns along that border that remain unincorporated. The town name originates from William Kerr, an early settler who arrived in 1846. The town began as a agricultural community, and cattle were the mainstay of its economy until after World War II when ranching became increasingly important. Today, Kerrville's primary industry is agriculture, with some limited manufacturing activity also present. Though it has no municipal government other than an elected mayor and vice mayor, Kerrville does have a public school system which serves both inner-city students and rural residents within walking distance of the post office and library. As part of Mexico's bicultural policy, most people in Kerrville are bilingual (Spanish/Mexican) but there are also several dozen English speakers among its population of around eighty thousand people who make up close to 60% non Hispanic background

Kerrville was founded in 1879 by James Fenton and his brothers. The town was named for General Philip Sheridan, who fought in the Mexican-American War. Kerrville developed as a railroad town, with the first train arriving in 1870. The town became an agricultural center after the construction of the Chisholm Trail Railroad. In 1915, Kerrville became a city and has since grown to become one of Texas' most populous towns.
The Kerrville area was first settled by the Caddo people in the 18th century. In 1837, General Sam Houston established Fort Worth as the capital of Texas and appointed Father Francisco Gomez as its first bishop. The town of Kerrville was founded on a small site near the present day intersection of FM 527 and FM 620. In 1872, James Fenton opened a post office in what is now Kerrville. By 1905, there were 20 businesses in the town and 1,500 residents. In 1916, J.C. Penney bought most of the land within present-day Kerrville for $10 million dollars. The company built a large shopping center here that remains one of the largest shopping centers in Texas today. The city's population peaked at over 100,000 in 1980 but has since declined to around 50,000 today
