One reason given for this vote may have been Johnson's decision to move his presidential library from Austin to Arlington Heights, Illinois; also located within Tarrant County but outside of Fort Worth proper boundaries – which made it difficult for people living there to attend events related thereto (e.g., inaugurations). However even though many residents did not support Johnson during his four terms as president – due largely to economic hardships brought about by America's recession – they eventually warmed up to him again after he won re-election in 1992 with a more balanced budget amendment and increased social welfare programs designed specifically for Hispanics/Latinos living throughout Tarrant County rather than just within its borders limits (i.e., inner city neighborhoods such as Houston/the West Side /the East Side). This change can be partially attributed to Jeff Sessions becoming attorney general under then-president George H W Bush after being elected via landslide victory over incumbent John Ashcroft; Sessions had been prosecutor general during both Reagan and Bush 41 years earlier while also serving as U S senator from Alabama.)
