The first Red Dot Sightseeing Tours were offered by Adventure Outfitters in October of 2003. At that time, these tours were only for those who had a firearms license and could demonstrate how to use a red dot sight on a rifle. As time went on, more and more people started taking part in these tours and today they are an integral part of many shooters’ lives. The history of Red Dot Sighting Tours begins with two individuals who wanted to give back to their community. Larry and Tammy Godfrey founded Adventure Outfitters with the intent of providing shooting enthusiasts with quality experiences that would raise money for local charities. twoday Shooting Adventures began offering similar tours in 2005 as well as sniper instruction classes for children and adults alike. Today, there are over 100 tour companies operating throughout the United States including some that operate outside of Texas! There are several reasons why Red Dot Sighting Tours have become so popular among firearms enthusiasts around the country: First off, they offer something different than other tourist traps; most sights hereabouts close down at 6pm so don't miss this unique opportunity! Plus it's not your average gun show either - these days you're likely getting into shooting through an adventure rather than buying something! Second off - when you finally get your chance to shoot at one it's really impressive because even if you're no pro at using a red dot sight it takes some serious practice to do well against all those moving targets out there! Horizon City is a city in Ellis County, Texas, United States. The population was 8,362 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The city is bordered by McKinney to the north and east, Carrollton to the south and west, Irving to the northwest and Richardson to the southeast. In 1881, John Waddell founded a town in this area called Waco on land that he had bought from Zenas Cross. Businesses started here soon after Waddell's arrival with cottonseed oil being one of the first products exported from Horizon City. In 1898, when Commerce Company founder James Murchison arrived in Horizon City he built a sawmill on South Elm Street which became an important economic center for many years until it closed its doors in 1957 due to a lack of business opportunity. In 1907 Enterprise Oil & Gas company president George Ahern came into town from Dallas looking for oil resources and bought 6 acres (2 km²) of land at what is now US- 71st St., near downtown for $10 per acre (3 per Football field). This site would become home to Horizon City's first commercial refinery within 2 years when Ahern leased his land from J&L Refining Company which also operated another refinery nearby at US- 75th St.. In 1926 Enterprise merged with Gulf Refining Company making Horizon City one of 5 cities in Texas along with Corpus Christi, Galveston, Houston Heights/Houston West Side and Sugar Land that formed Galveston-Houston Industries Incorporated as a non-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of Internal Revenue Code - providing businesses like ours with access to government subsidy while running their businesses without interference! The early days were challenging but full of promise as various entrepreneurs answered surveys asking if they wanted their name attached to any particular project or enterprise – people who took Initiative never give up easily! Today we continue this "I did it" spirit as we celebrate our 125th year anniversary – evidence that anything is possible when you put your mind together and take action!
