However, there are still a number of cultural festivals held throughout the year including Fiesta del Rio Grande where community members come together to celebrate Mexican culture and history; Paraíso Folklorico which features traditional music from around Mexico City; Asamblea Legislativa which is an opportunity for citizens to share ideas about legislation with their elected representatives; as well as art shows and photo exhibitions related to various aspects of Mexicano life throughout the year).
