Hereford, Texas is a small town located in the far-west corner of Texas. The population was 1,848 at the 2000 census and 2,099 at the 2010 census. Hereford is a farming community with a large percentage of agriculture as its mainstay. The first settlers in Hereford were Native Americans who came from what is now Oklahoma in 1821. They named their community Hennepin after General David Hennessy, who led an American force to battle Mexico's forces at Buena Vista Creek on October 16, 1836. The town was founded by John Witherspoon in 1875 and became part of the Webb County seat on July 1, 1907. In 1938 Hereford post office changed its name to Hereford because it no longer had a Webster County mailing address and began receiving mail from all over Webb County. In 1986 here was an unsuccessful effort to get the towns of Midland and Pecos merged into one municipality. That same year Hereford also won approval from the Webb County Commissioners Court to annex portions of Midland City so that it could become more populous and develop economically along Interstate 35W (now I-35). In December 2009 there was another successful annexation attempt for Midland City when Hereford applied for annexation from Midland despite objections from Mayor Tom Battle and city council members Dave Medina and Shawn Reeves Jr.. On January 17th 2010 both cities were annexed into Hereford as a result of this annexation attempt by effusive meanness by local officials combined with eageritude by residents who continue to be priced out of larger municipalities due to their high cost per capita or lack thereof
There has been a long and varied history of gun lights. From the simple Lanterns used by early farmers to more complex devices, there have been many different types of firearm lights that have been used throughout history. The first firearmsIGHTS were employed in 16th century England when the government began using beacons on ships to warn other vessels of danger near shore. The use of these brightly lit signs allowed sailors to avoid collisions and dangerous interactions with other vessels. In the 18th century, artillery units used large, hand-held guns that required specific light signals to be sent out in order for observers on the battlefield to identify friendly and enemy forces. By the early 20th century, GUN LIGHTS had replaced lanterns as one of the most common forms of firearm illumination in militaries all over the world! Today they continue to play an important role in military operations around the world, both offensively and defensively!

Hereford, Texas is a small town in Midland County, TX, about 25 miles west of Dallas. It was founded in 1872 by John and Martha Hereford as a cattle ranch. The Hereford name has been used in other places such as Hereford, OK; Hereford, TX; and Herffordsville, KY. Today, the town has a population of approximately 1,000 people and is home to the Hereford Regional Technical School District. The First Baptist Church was built in 1892 and is still standing today. In 1916 the town voted to annex the neighboring community of Irvington which had a population of 527 people. Today there are only 100 residents living within the boundaries of heretown proper. The first post office opened in 1872 and closed in 1902. The current post office was established on October 16th, 1960. The town became an incorporated municipality on February 6th, 1961 with a population of 714 people.
Hereford was founded in 1848 by George W. Hereford, a cattle rancher and father of the current town. After being named for Herefordshire, England, the town became a railroad junction in 1907 and soon developed into a small agricultural center with several thousand residents. The population reached its peak in 1951 when it had over sixty thousand occupants.residential development began in the early 1950s and continued until the late 1960s when new housing projects supplanted traditional agriculture as the primary economic activity of Hereford. In recent years, however, rural ranching has resumed as an important factor in the economy while smaller businesses continue to operate on small farms.
