Today, much of what once constituted Downtown Henderson remains extant within Houston proper - including most notably The Homer Wirths Museum - while portions of Midtown are also home to lively nightlife enterprises such as Club Soda Lounge & Grill (known locally simply as 'Soda') which fronts First Baptist Church on Main Street between Yale & Lamar Streets; Red Onion Eatery next door on Yale Street between Midtown Center & US 69; Bistro El Tiempo ('El Tiempo' being Spanish for 'the TIMESTAMP'), also located near First Baptist Church on Main Street between Yale & Lamar Streets; plus several other favorite local haunts like Mama Q's BBQ (a national chain), Five Points barbershop (& café), Texaco gas station #2 ('Texaco' being multi-national), Pecos Billiards restaurant (& lounge) on Third Street just east of I-45 North / Loop 610 East - all Of Which can be found online or even inside participating local businesses directly!
