The company has since announced plans to open up new stores throughout Tarrant County, including one at Glen Heights Center mall which will become home to H-E-B's first ever Flagship store. The move came as a surprise to many residents of Glenn Heights who had been working tirelessly to keep the heart of their town active and vibrant during what has been seen as a tough economy for much of this decade. Despite this setback for H-E-B's local presence, locals are still looking forward to seeing what else their favorite retail giant may have up its sleeve before they finally close shop later this year!

This type of warfare was possible because cannons could not be transported close enough to face down enemy troops on horseback who would then charge them headlong! The use of artillery also facilitated battlefield objectives like destroying bridges or capturing strategic positions while infantry fought ashore nearby; both tasks which required a great deal of firepower but were less threatening due to their distance from combatant forces[2]. Glenn Heights is named after Major General George A. Glenn who fought in The Mexican-American War and The American Civil War. In 1892 two men from Glenn Heights founded the first post office in this small town; it was called "Eddie Post". In 1905 the name changed to "Glenn Heights" after General Glenn's brother-in-law, James Ewing Darnell Glenn. In 1917 an oil well was drilled in what would become Glen Heights and by 1922 there were over 20 businesses operating in the community. The oil boomtown grew rapidly during World War II with an influx of veterans and their families looking for jobs in a wartime economy. However, by 1945 most of the businesses had closed or been converted into apartments or other housing developments such as Glen Oaks on Utopia Parkway which still remains today one of the most intact examples of pre-war apartment buildings ever built The post office closed its doors for good in 1989 and ZIP code 78538 became zip code for all residents within Hidalgo County rather than just Glenn Heights The local school district operated public schools until 2002 when they merged with neighboring Edinburg Independent School District to form McAllen ISD
