Theodore "Ted" Soderlund and his team at SRI International, now owned by Raytheon Co., Ltd. One of the first laser sights systems to be mass-produced was the Mini-14 Rifle Sight from Brownells Incorporated in 1978. This system consisted of a red dot pointer that could be attached to either an optic or barrel, allowing soldiers and shooters around the world to gain accurate 100 meter range targets with ease. In 1986, Bushmaster Firearms Incorporated introduced their infamous M4A1 Carbine rifle with a sidefolding light attachment that allowed it to use laser sight attachments such as those manufactured by Aimpoint Corporation (now US Optics) and others. The success of these attachments ledBushmaster to produce its own line of lasersights utilizing Aimpoint's Trijicon ACOG reflex optic design which became known as the "Bushmaster T6." These optics were eventually adopted by other manufacturers including Colt Arms Company, Sigarms AG, Magpul Industries LLC, etc., making them one of the most common laser sights on American firearms today.

Galena Park is a small town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,775 at the 2010 census. Galena Park is located in the eastern part of the county and includes most of its eastern side. It is bordered by Arlington to the east and north, Commerce to the west and south, Plano to the southeast and Garland to the southwest. The earliest known reference to a post office in this area was on July 6, 1879. In 1907 Galena Park had a population of 309 residents. The first store in Galena Park opened on October 10th, 1907 by Dutchman Jules Waller with his brother-in-law Charles Fenton as manager. The name of the store was "Jules W." & Sons'. A fire destroyed all but one building in 1919 but it reopened on November 5th with new management including Harry Ladd as owner/manager and Eddy Cramer as clerk/ Warehouse Keeper (1925). A new warehouse was built just east of present day Lombard Street between 1921-1924 which became known as "The old mill". In 1951 an addition to existing buildings at 501 North Main Street became known as "The Addition" after Mrs. Addams who donated land for it which also included her home adjacent thereto still standing today across from First Baptist Church (now Catholic) . In 1964 what is now corner lot No 493 N Main St became known as Lakewood Drive after annexation by Galena Park from Arlington Heights Township when that township merged into Tarrant County. By 1970 there were 2,495 people living withinGalena Park limits according to Texas Census reports while most annexations took place before then due largely because of development along I-10 or other major highways that served more populous municipalities outside their borders such as Plano or Temple Terrace where annexations frequently occurred without any solicitation from residents! In 2000 census there were 4,844 people living within its boundaries while annexed areas added another 2,627 citizens over time making it almost 8 times larger than its smallest annexed territory which just shyened Brazoria County’s population edge only by 400 residents or 3%. Of course annexation can never happen until____________________________________ Today much like then many continue to live close enough so civic events are always occurring regardless
