By 1910 Galena Park had become home to over 30 homespun stores making it one of America’s most vibrant shopping districts! Today much has changed since then as many residents have moved away or been replaced by people from outlying areas like Garland or Richardson but some constants include active involvement by city councilmembers at all levels plus numerous festivals throughout summertime including Art Walk during Art Fair week - another reason why this city always seems so lively!
