Galena Park, Texas is home to the third largest gun barrel manufacturing facility in the United States. The facility was founded in 1907 and produces a wide variety of firearms barrels, including those used in handguns and rifles. In recent years, the company has shifted its focus to stainless steel barrels for handguns and rifles. Galena Park also manufactures muzzleloaders and black powder pistols.

Galena Park is a small town in Williamson County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. Galena Park is known for its large Galena Lake and its many shopping options including boutiques, department stores, and high-end retailers. The first people to live in what is now Galena Park were Native Americans who hunted game near by. A post office was established in 1875, but it did not take off until 1887 when mail brought residents news of the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad. In 1905, the Galena Post Office became a freight stop on the Chisholm Trail that connected Dallas and Fort Worth. In 1915, Jens Jensen started an agricultural business which grew into one of the largest in Texas. Jensen donated land to build a parade ground that would later become home to ISD (Houston Independent School District). The first school opened in 1918 as Montrose ILR High School and later became Lamar Community College before becomingGalena Park Junior College in 1969 after being annexed by HCC (Houston Community Colleges). In 1955, Galena Park formed an all-female athletic team called "The Girls" which still plays today on Saturday nights at Memorial Stadium against local boys teams from nearby League City/Kingsville/Humble Schools. The Female Athletes Association was founded that year and has supported athletes from across Texas ever since!Today there are more than 350 girls playing sports within our boundaries!

Galena Park is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,869 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Galena Park was founded in 1881 by Scotsman John Auld and his wife Agnes Robertson as a small rancho on the edge of what is now Cottonwood Heights. The Aulds named their property after the mineral galena, which they found near their farmstead while prospecting for oil wells. In 1916, Galena Park was incorporated as a city and has since grown into one of the most diverse cities in Texas with its rich cultural history dating back to its founding. The first post office opened in Galena Park on December 15, 1881. The name change from "Robertson Ranch" to "Galena Park" because of coal mining activity along the banks of Buffalo Bayou that began around this time (the original Robertsons were Scottish). Coal mining stopped around 1915 but continued until 1933 when it became clear that there would be no new coal seams found in Texas despite many attempts by companies. Development opportunities arose when oil began moving upslope from Eagle Ford Field in San Antonio and other fields; however, little production took place because of technological advances and low sulfur content of oil shale deposits available onshore. In 1916 GalenaPark incorporated as an independent municipality with a population of 11 residents under mayor J C Hargrave and five trustees including Grover Cleveland who donated land for park development immediately east of White Rock Creek canyon where he had purchased land years earlier from José Bautista de la Vega y Castro (a Mexican immigrant). After World War II much growth occurred due to annexation by Dallas following the war's end; however annexations are not common procedure in Texas so GalenaPark retained its own elected officials until annexation happened again through City Council Chambers on February 16, 2009 when Galenpark citizens voted 54% against becoming anotherDallas suburb subject to special regulations imposed upon annexed areas like increased taxes (which only applied to annexed Dallas neighborhoods) without any public input or vote preceding it! Houston businessman Henry Clay Frick bought land adjacent to White Rock Creek Canyon for future park development during World War I as part of his efforts towards developing Arlington County outside Houston within commuting distance for many employees working at Frick's company – Astrodome Corporation – located just south across Buffalo Bayou opposite Dallas proper where games were played before meetings held at Frick's home between Astrodome executives and local landowners resulted in purchase by Dallasatcher James Mankiewicz who donated $5 million toward construction starting October 1923 which included opening day September 1924 attended by 50 top businessmen and women from all over Southern California attending what became known as 'The Day Of The American Future' also note that both facilities were privately funded with no public subsidy or support given either organization providing event planning or financial assistance once built.)
