All three churches were added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1984 pursuant to section 4(a)(1) of the National Historic Preservation Act (Preamble). The Friendship Baptist School complex includes a variety of buildings used for grades PreK-8th grade including a schoolhouse dating back to 1876; Pupkakee Middle School serving grades 9-12; Crossroads Christian Fellowship high school serving grades 7-12; as well as additional classrooms/office space available for use by any system students who need it during these periods; a wrestling gymnasium/coaching center built specifically for Friendswood High School boys’ varsity wrestling team; tennis courts adjacent to both schools which serve as home court for girls’ tennis teams during season; five basketball courts complete with nets located next door to each other across from Crossroads Christian Fellowship high school Gymnasiums - making total there are thirteen basketball Courts throughouttownhomeoftheFriendsWoodSox();and more than twenty handball Courts scattered aroundtownhomeoftheFriends wood Hornets.;andseveral multi-purpose fields complete with bleachersforgamesoftennis&handball&baseBALL&Wrestling

This order caused great panic among many Texans as it suggested Mexico was about to invade Texas. Friendswood was founded in 1881 by John and Sarah Friend. The Friends built a log cabin on the present site of Friendship Park. A post office was established in 1884, and Friendswood became a town in 1907. In 1916, the first high school was opened inFriendship Park. Friendswood is now a suburb of Houston.
