By 1890, Euless had a post office, an hotel, schools and businesses. In 1925, J.B. Post opened up what became known as one of America's first drive-in theatres with 12 screens across three levels. In 1951, when Sam Walton opened his Walmart store in nearby Beltway Park, Euless became home to its first KFC restaurant with 11 locations across seven states before it closed in 1984. Today Euless is known for its agricultural products such as corn (maize), soybeans (soy sauce), cottonseed oil and other crops; its shopping center that includes over 20 stores including Macy's、 Sears、 JCPenney、 etc.; as well as its annual rodeo which takes place in downtownEuless every July during Cowboys On The Range weekend
