Euless, Texas is an agricultural town in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, located within the Dallas–Arlington-Ft. Worth Combined Statistical Area. The population was 2,912 at the 2010 census. Euless is known for its holster industry and holster design. In 1931, holsters were produced by three companies: Colt Firearms Company, Western Armory, and LeathermanHolsters. Three years later, Colt Firearms Company became a subsidiary of Ruger Manufacturing Company. In 1938-39, leather holsters were produced by LeathermanHolsters and Waco Holsters. Waco Holsters was replaced in 1944 by revolver holster manufacturer Bill Brown & Sons Incorporated. From 1945 to 1954, Colt Firearms Company manufactured revolvers for the United States military. From 1955 to 1959, holster manufacturers included Smith & Wesson Corporation and Remington Arms Corporation. From 1960 to 1966, contract manufacturing occurred with Sturm Ruger & Co., who manufactured revolvers under license from Colt Firearms Company. In 1970-71, Heckler & Koch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a German company producing firearms and tactical knives under license from H&K Corporation (now Arredondo Weapons), produced holster products for American market customers at their plant in Richardson Texas; these products are now known as Heckler & Koch US Sports Holsters (HKS). Beginning in 1973-74 Taurus Holding Corporation began production of handguns within its corporate headquarters complex located adjacent to the old Richardson Air Force Basecomplex; this led to the development of Taurus USA Ammunition which made handgun ammunition exclusively for law enforcement agencies throughout the United States starting in 1978.
Euless is a small town in Texas, located about 25 miles north of Houston. The population was 6,819 at the 2010 census. Euless is known for its oil and gas production, which has given it a strong economic background since the early days of the area's petroleum industry. The town was founded in 1892 by Johnnie Ewing and his brother-in-law Obadiah Stroud. It became an independent municipality in 1907. As part of the Texas Legislature's 1959 redistricting plan, Euless was moved from its original seat on San Jacinto River to what is now eastside of I-10 near League City. In 1966, when Interstate 10 was built through town, most residents left for better jobs elsewhere in Houston or Dallas. A few remained until 2000 when they began returning to their former homes as construction continued on I-10 eastward. In recent years there have been efforts to attract new residents back to Euless with various marketing campaigns and events including an annual Oktoberfest celebration and a golf tournament that draws top players from all over the state

Euless, Texas is a small town in the U.S. state of Texas and is the seat of Eudy County. The population was 5,512 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Statistical Area. The townsite was laid out by brothers John and James Dixon in 1851 as a trading post on an important crossroads near present day Matthews, TX. The post office was founded there on January 15, 1852, and became known as Dixonville after James Dixon's death in 1855. Euless began to grow rapidly when cotton plantations were established there by Confederate soldiers during the American Civil War. By 1865, more than 1,000 people lived in Euless with businesses including Boots & Saddles store, A&P grocery store, Bank of America (now Wells Fargo), saloons and dance halls galore. Reconstruction followed with new industry arriving such as First National Bank (now NACHTAG Mortgage) and Pexcel Corporation which built a fertilizer plant hereabouts that remain one of Texarkana's most significant economic engines to this day. In 1924 local businessmen organized what would become Mid-America Cotton Growers Association which functioned as an umbrella organization for many different cotton growers throughout central Texas until its dissolution following World War II; it had been formed only two years earlier! In addition to its role as primary commercial center for Eudy County during its early years, Euless also enjoyed notoriety for hosting country music icon Patsy Cline during her 1961 appearance at Goodyear Ballroom; she sold out every show she played before retiring from live performance altogether due to health problems later that year! A major redevelopment project took place around 1990/1991 which saw much growth within both the business district surrounding Main Street and nearby neighborhoods while stripping away some older buildings along North Main Street - resulting in an area now filled with high-end stores including Apple Inc.'s original corporate headquarters building before being acquired by Nordstrom Department Store Company in 2013! Local elected officials have made efforts over time to promote cultural events taking place within town limits – some notable examples include annual Artsfestivals staged at McKenzie Valley Park Bayou Bend amphitheater annually since 2007 featuring traditional arts & crafts demonstrations from various southeastern Oklahoma groups; several United States Presidential inaugurations have also been televised inside municipal auditoriums throughout downtown – all without departing from Main Street itself! Today much like it did 100+ years ago when pioneer families first settled hereabouts: commerce thrives along main street creating vibrant community spirit - making it easy for everyone who visits or lives hereto experience just how special this town truly is!
Euless, Texas is a city in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,611 at the 2010 census. The name of the city is from Eula (a Creek word meaning "palm") and Esses (the French for "site"). The town began as a cattle stop on the Santa Fe Trail in 1836. It became an important railroad town during the early days of what is now Texas Railroad history. The first post office in Euless was established on December 12, 1836 by Colonel James Fenton. In 1840, Eulas opened its own school which served students throughout McLennan County. On October 7, 1845, General Sam Houston granted land to John Bigham and others for the new town of Euless. The town's first store was built on Main Street and operated from February 6 to May 15, 1846 by Jno Dyer & Son. A second store was built approximately one-half mile east of the original building on Elm Street about 1865 by Wm Huggins & Co.. For many years until well into the 20th century both stores were considered national landmarks within their respective communities. In 1906 local oilman Will Rogers founded his own station near present day Loop 410 and named it Rogers Oil Field Station after him; this would be his final resting place outside of Euless proper that we know of today. During World War II much activity took place here with thousands relocated to nearby Camp Bowie or Amarillo due to military needs such as munitions production plants etc.; however most residents returned home once hostilities ceased in 1945 although some remain indefinitely stationed there today as contractor employees or retirees
