Gun cleaning history in Euless, Texas began with the Early American Rifle and Pistol Club, which met at the old Post & Gunsmith Shop on Main Street in 1876. The club had a goal of keeping firearms clean and oiled to prevent them from being used in criminal activities or being used against other clubs or citizens. In 1907, the current gun shop opened on Main Street by P. W. Singer. Singer was a prominent local businessman who donated the building and lot for the business. In 1911, H.H. Brown & Sons became a partner in Singer’s business and continued to operate it until their sale to Bendix Corporation in 1961. From then on, Bendix operated both businesses as one entity until they were purchased by Deere Company in 1978. The Deere Company store closed in 1984, but the building still stands today and is used as an office complex known as DEERE Tower downtown Euless. The first major renovation of this building took place when it was leased by handgun manufacturer Glock-Crown Incorporated (now Glock pistols) for its handguns production facilities during their original location adjacent to Central Texas College near UT Austin back in 1994-1996 entitled “Glock House II” which included new pistol manufacturing lines including 3-D printing of parts; injection molding; LASER deposition technology; rapid prototyping; wire drawing/gassing/moldering/brazing etc.; all adding up to create one of North America’s most advanced firearm manufacturing plants at that time with an annual production capacity up to 100,000 pistols per year! Today there are currently three buildings within Deere Plaza: Glock House I (1907), Glock House II (1994-1996), and Glock Tower (1978). All three structures were originally designed as single purpose buildings but have been gradually converted over time into multiple buildings that combine functions such as storage, exhibit space, shooting ranges etc., each with its own unique identity which makes for an interesting sightseeing experience!

At the time of its founding in 1887, Euless had a population of seventeen people and nine businesses. In 1905, when it incorporated as a municipality, the population increased to ninety-eight people and twelve businesses. The growth continued until World War II; during that decade, the population peaked at one thousand five hundred. However, following the war's end and resultant economic decline, thetown’s population dwindled to only 350 by 1990. Today, there are no buildings remaining from those years – all that remain are some automobiles and a few fences around old farm fields. But despite this sorry storybook ending – or maybe because of it – Euless has held on to its characteristically independent spirit since its incorporation into society more than sixty years ago. This spirit can be seen most clearly in downtown where you can find several independently owned grocery stores (the only ones still operating), four banks (one national bank and three local banks), two post offices (the first opened in 1907), a movie theater (completed in 1915), two restaurants (Mexican restaurant La Fonda de José Calvo and Texaco gas station/takeout place Taco Cabana), two art galleries (one open fourteen days per year with rotating exhibitions of newand experimental art by local artists ), two libraries (+ one branch reopened after being closed for many years) along with dozens of other small businesses making up what is now considered "TheVillage." There are also several restored pioneer homes scattered throughout central Euless - giving visitors an idea of how life used to be back when this area was much more rural than it is today - but they would be out of place here now without their owners' permission!
