Just 10 years old!!! AvionicsScope became available commercially only beginning WWII !! However suffice it to say that Augustus Fenton was quite accomplished within this particular field(s)! As mentioned earlier circa 1951 Harry Goudreau founded "Goudreau's Optics" company adjacent toUT Arlington Observatory where he continues today as proprietor! From humble origins here at "Goudrezoes optics", Harry eventually built one of North America's largest optical retail chains servicing customers from coasttocoast via mail order !
