Gun magazines are a common sight in most homes. They provide the owner or shooter with a steady supply of rounds to fire from their weapon. The first step in using a magazine is to identify the type of magazine it is. Some magazines are designed for specific types of firearms, while others are general-purpose magazines. The form and size of each magazine can affect how many rounds the user can carry without running out. Magazines come in both right-handed and left-handed versions, depending on which hand the gun is held in. Some magazines also have capacity expansion options that increase the number of rounds that can be carried before they need to be replaced or emptied.
