Eagle Pass, Texas is a small town located in the Buttahoma County seat of McMinnville. The population was 1,468 at the 2010 census. Eagle Pass is known for its holster and gun history. The first holsters were created in 1875 by Hernando de Soto and his men as they travel through the area on their way to the Santa Fe Trail. De Soto's men needed to carry firearms because they were not allowed to carry any weapons with them on their journey. The holsters served as back-ups for the men's swords and spears while they traveled. In 1902, Fenton Christensen began manufacturing handguns here in Eagle Pass. He started making revolvers, shotguns, pistols, and rifles until his death in 1944. From 1944 to 1966, Harry Jorgensen manufactured handguns here in Eaglepass until he closed his business due to ill health. However, there are still many holster manufacturers who operate in Eagle Pass from this time period onwards. One of the most famous holster designers from Eagle Pass is Harry Jorgensen who produced some of the most popular handguns in America during this time period such as Glock 19s and 1911s amongst others. Jorgensen was also responsible for creating some very unique designs including The Pistol Pocket Holster which became popular amongst law enforcement officers across America during this time period. During World War II, when ammunition was hard to come by and especially important for warfare purposes, many eagle pass residents took up arms against Nazi Germany using homemade weaponry such as shotguns and pistols made from items that they could find around the community such as cinderblocks or old tires! This resistance led to a few German soldiers being taken prisoner after crossing into USA territory undetected! These prisoners were then interrogated by American military intelligence Officers who learned about all of these weapons caches within eagle pass dating back centuries! Aftermath of WWII saw an influx of Americans returning home with information about anti-fascist forces active inside OFA boundaries - allowing agents like myself (later Special Agent)to track these people down easily! Many more stories like these can be told if one digs deep enough into local history archives – but for now we'll just enjoy a few favorite memories from our own hometown!

Eagle Pass, Texas is a small town located in Hudspeth County, Texas. The population was 2,898 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Hudspeth County. The town of Eagle Pass was founded in 1881 by the community of Pecos. The name "Eagle Pass" came from an eagle that had been killed by Indians near the town site. A post office was established in 1883, and the name changed to Eagle Pass in 1907. In 1916, the United States Post Office closed at Eagle Pass because of a lack of customers. In 1932, construction began on what would become the first commercial airport in Hudspeth County when John Gorman opened his Gorman Airport. The airport served as a stop for military aircraft during World War II and became known as "Gorman Field". After World War II ended, Gorman Airport reverted back to civilian use and remained open until it closed in 1984. In 1957, the first high school in EaglePass was built when Hockaday High School opened its doors after being built with money from a bond issue approved by voters in 1952. Hockaday High School continued to be open until 2002 when it merged with nearby Truth or Consequences High School to form one large school system which still operates today under their original name as Truth or Consequences HS (Hudspeth County Section). In 1974, Falconer Junior-Senior High School opened its doors after previously serving as satellite schools for Truth or Consequences HS (Hudspeth County Section). During the 1990s and 2000s, many businesses moved into EaglePass including several Walmart stores along with AT&T Park concessions and other restaurant choices throughout downtown/the central business district area of town since there were no other places within miles for businesses to locate close to retail shopping areas like this which then offered residents more job opportunities outside their homes due to easy access to Interstate 10 eastbound & westbound exits without having to leave their neighborhoods/towns
