There are also several churches within walking distance of each other as well as plenty of shopping options if one desires something specific outside of their everyday routine (eaglepass has some great restaurants!). Overall, I think that Eagle Pass is an interesting place - it has many unique attractions (like its Agricultural Store), but it's also a smaller town with an active local economy that can be enjoyed by all who live here!

Eagle Pass, Texas is a small town in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,858 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. The first people to live in Eagle Pass were the Chihuahua Apaches. They were forced out of their natural territory by Mexican settlers in 1836 and began to wander in what is now Hudspeth County. In 1847, General Sam Houston granted some land east of the Colorado River to these Apache owners in order to protect them from banditry and other danger. The Apache name for this area was "Aurora". In 1851, a group of Anglo-Americans who had come overland from Mexico founded Fort Worth on the Colorado River near present-day San Antonio. They named their new town after James Fenton Hillyer, one of their number. When Fort Worth grew too large for its founder's liking and they sold access to the river for shipping onboats (the Navigation District), they decided to move away from Fort Worth and build another settlement closer to nature than industry could provide. This second town was called Aurora because it stood above all others on a ridge overlooking Buffalo Bayou that stretched into present day Austin. When white men arrived in Texas during the mid 1800s they found an open country that had not yet been explored by man. A few men went off into what is now Hudspeth County looking for gold or cattle but most Texans followed Columbus as he sailed around Cape Horn about 1492 voyaging more than 300 miles (480 km) across open sea before sighting land which led him believe that he had discovered America! He named his find "Columbia" after himself! Unfortunately for Columbus his error turned out to be true - he only discovered South America! So when Spanish explorers sighted this region they named it "Hudspeth" after Captain Alonso de Herrera y Salinas who mapsred it with recommendations from Hernando de la Vega y Menendez who served as Secretary of War under Santa Anna while he was governor of New Spain between 1799-1803! After failing in his attempt to establish a colony at Vera Cruz (Mexico) due mainly to lack of suitable soil there started up waves of European migration seeking opportunity instead so early explorations were less successful; however many stories circulate about accounts where Native Americans fought tooth and nail against advance whites until finally ceding control back within 10 years or so... By 1840 there were only scattered settlements including Aurora making up less then 10%of total population living within 100 miles sqr., compared with 90%+ today? You would think given our current state Route 66 corridor’s proximity we would have seen more development here over time but noooooo!! Sorry EaglesPassers... Many Moons Ago
